- Take a trip with us deep inside the workshop at Jtune/ST Hitec as we discover what hidden gems we can find and also take a Suzuki Swift Sport onto the dyno.
We really like the Swift Sport as a sleeper pocket rocket and its great they come in 6 speed manual as well. The number and performance might surprise you!

Mine at 180hp with stage 1+ pulls like crasy 6.1 6.2 0-100. Non hybrid ofc best for tuning.
i had mine on the dyno for a power run a couple weeks ago and got 100wkw @ 4700 and 270nm @ 3300 completely stock 😎
slightly annoying, the very early 1.4 Boosterjets hit 150hp
I own the Vitara with the same engine and allgrip. It's so much fun to drive.
Would a cold air intake do something?
Should improve cooling if you tend to drive it hard often
If this a non-hybrid, I'd be slightly disappointed as it should be making at least 140bhp stock. What fuel is he using? I take it the UK market ones are the same as NZ.
This is wheel hp, different to inflated bhp.
@@RRR_Motorsports I see, wow that's a real eye opener. So the actual HP at the wheels is 130? Damn that makes me bit sad being an owner of a 2019 Swift Sport... I guess it's still nippy enough and can carry 5 😅
@@sungketpatel30 they make good torque, have short gears and are light
It's definitely a fun car
You should do a test drive with it.
Race it against the Exige 🤣
97kw is the hybrid version isn’t it?
Hybrid version has the same power, it's only a mild hybrid. This one is non-hybrid
@@sundaymorningdrives I see, I also own a thermic one(yellow one with stickers xD), but here they advertise that the motor outputs 103kw? Maybe at the wheel you lose 6kw I guess
@@sundaymorningdrives that is not true. Non hybrid makes 140hp. With decent fuel it does 150 stock
@@profix25lo they revised them, 2021 onwards have a different tighter intake and a petrol particulate filter vs the 2017-2020, 2017-2020 are easy 150, but post 2021 129 is about right.
Europeans use bhp
Aus / nz like to use wheel kw
97kw atw translates to like 150hp at the fly
Is this the non hybrid model
Yes
That’s not standard with 130 at the wheels!
Suzuki underrates the power on these cars.
