Actually, Think, it's not two voices behind Mario and Luigi. They're both voiced by the same guy. Everything you heard both of them say was coming from the mouth of one man: his name is Charles Martinet.
Charles Martinet voices Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, Baby Wario, Metal Mario, Toadsworth, and many others.
Electric Daisy Yeah, both Mario Bros. are voiced by the same guy. Plus those other characters I mentioned. Really shows his vocal range.

they should put full voicing or at least more of it in the games for sure.. this is like a pretty clear indicator that they're the type of characters to talk alot (ironically) and alot of what is said is pretty funny...
Yeah. Just goes to show they have enough of a personality that can carry over in a game. It’s a shame they want Mario and his friends to remain silent. I’d love to see future Mario games with more voice acting. Speaking of which, I’d like the same with Pit. I’d like to see him in another game. Too bad Sakurai announced there was a small chance of him appearing in his own anytime soon. Nintendo really should listen to their fans more. Hell, they should take fan requests and ideas.
With the new voice actors for Mario and Luigi. Yeah, it’s better for them to remain silent.
But seriously, I would love to see Mario talk more. Nintendo said that they want their protagonist to be silent so the player can feel like they’re the protagonist. Even though Mario is literally screaming mama-mia right in your face.

Luigi's got his own shadow, that really hit me hard right there, when Luigi said that, I did not just see him noticing his shadow like the shadow that we see on the ground whenever it's sunny outside, or when there's light, I saw something strong, what I also saw was Luigi finding what he was good at, what his talent was, what his true strengths were, who he was meant to be. He has his own princess, and he has his own enemies, and arch rival. That is Luigi's own shadow.

Well, I know Hotel Mario was asked about before and Mario responded saying that he has absolutely 0 recollection of anything in it... amen that it's obviously not canon! XD Luigi's also stated that he absolutely loves taking care of his "pet" Yoshi so I guess that's the closest we'll get for now. I'd still like to see them specifically asked about though to see if any other reactions might occur. However, I feel Mario would just start talking about spaghetti like how he does in this video and Luigi would just say he cares for Yoshi, but may refuse any claims of Yoshi ever thinking Luigi was his Mom. idk A lot of times stuff like that is brought up you'd either get somewhat broad and expected like those that don't necessarily answer the question or you're told you'd have to ask "their Papa" about it.

I just found out rather than these awesome interactions with Mario and Luigi. There’s going to be a live event with Mario, but instead of actually being able to talk to actual Mario and Luigi, you get some guy in a Mario outfit that you just take pictures with. if somebody invited me to go there with that, I would say nope! Nope nope nope nope! And no, it’s not going to be actually be Charles. It’s going to be some random guy. You’ve never met before. Nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
