Man, I want to do something similar, take out the mobo X58A-UD3R and a intel i7 930 and the gpu and then put in a A320m a pro with a ryzen 5 2600 and a nice rx 580 8GB, I got everything else that I need except thermal paste , the parts would get up to 120-130€
@@ZombieDontMiss progress on the optiplex case swap: cpu cooler + case are shipping, i got the okinos aqua 3 not the one you used cuz it was over 100 shipping included
This PC is not from 2008. AMD released the first Vision APUs in June of 2012. The first generations(Socket FM1) had two lines of AMD Vision existed. There was the higher tier A series: A4(2 core), A6(4 core), & A8(4 core); and the lower end E series E1 & E2. The E Series was never intended for gaming. The second and third generation(Socket FM2) ditched the E-Series and introduced Athlon APU line for the desktop market, and changed the A4 and A6 to be Dual core and introduced the A10 and A12 APUs also 4 core like the A8. The series was converted to Socket AM4 in late 2017, and in 2019 discontinued in favor of the Ryzen with Radeon Graphcs APUs, this does include the Athlon 200G and later Athlon APUs as those us leftover 1st generation Ryzen 5 components. Fun Fact: That there was also a custom generation of these chips Kaveri that powered both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
