The play-along covers are awesome but this is something different. Here Yoyoka gets to build the groove from the ground and make it her own. And does it extremely well. I think this is what people would call a deep pocket. And she listens to the others but still in charge. Must be fun to play with her.

DEeMON well, my mom is a fan of Led Zepp and Deep Purple, she can't sing like Ian Gillan (I don't think anyone can) but she does a good imitation of Robert Plant in Stairway to Heaven and Immigrant Song ... but really Yoyoka's mom is incredible!
Was just listening to everyone else in that room, from the guitars to Rei. Really plain forgot that an amazing 10-year old kid was actually playing the drums. Yoyoka may be the most famous person in the room, but the fact that she played in such a fashion that everyone else shone - that's one heck of a team player there. She never tried to outshine anyone in that room, but she definitely drove the song. What a perfect band drummer!
I think in one of her interviews, she’s said that she’s careful when playing with the/a band. She doesn’t want to be louder than the singer or the guitar. She’s very aware of that.

Yoyoka just seems to meld into the kit. Never seen a drummer look so comfortable while playing. She is always in the pocket, I've watched every one of her videos and never seen her hurry or look uncomfortable. A true human metronome. Awesome 😎 .
