3:30 "The European wars of religion were a series of religious wars waged in Europe in the 16th, 17th, and early 18th centuries. The wars were fought after the Protestant Reformation's beginning in 1517, which disrupted the religious and political order in the Catholic countries of Europe". Death toll of just the five biggest wars, around 6-17 million people. And that's not counting the various crusades against 'heresy', such as the Albigensian crusade which killed another million Christians.

I do think the mis referenced verse and ill positioned crucifixion and the like may have been intentional, if slightly impossible. The greatest commonality of 'religious' extremists is their weakness in their faith. But the said truth is that, religious extremism is barely scratching the surface of humanity's problems. Even if everyone was an atheist and all religions were disbanded, humans would still find an excuse to kill and go to war with each other.

I have to say it because of Linkara's joke about Jean's many deaths. Jean only died ONCE at the end of Grant Morrison's run sometime after this issue. The "Believe It" thing is because the translators wants to do something with the "Dattebayo -ttebayo" verbal tic that Naruto got in the japanese version to match the lips movement. But in the end, the fans backlashed saying that the overuse of the "Believe it!" was so annoying and less plausible than the Dattebayo thing that they decide to remove it. except they invented astrology, genetics and many other scientific fields, own the world's largest satellite telescope, publicly accepted evolution decades ago, and were the ones to open the world's first university. they also have yearly updates to their beliefs published.
i respect your disbelieving, but the church has been changing alongside it, and there's a lot of false information about them out there.

I agree that Chuck Austin seems to be having a bit of an off-day here, but I still think he should be kept as far away from the X-Men as he can GET, it feels as if he REALLY wasn't enjoying this job, just going through the motions.

I think the confusion was probably due to the stylized art during the Middle Ages and maybe some mistranslation of the Gospels to Latin.

Regarding the "same God" argument: There is actually a basis for that comment. Christianity, Islam and Judaism are all descended from the same original belief and cultures, and are known as the "Children of Abraham". While they are not the same beliefs now, there was a common thread between them long ago.

If you look closely the books have crosses on them and the narrative captions talk about what makes us more right than the next guy. Most likely this is a conversion to Christianity and the books are bibles

As far as I know, the only time you can consider a war from hindus was when India had a war with Pakistan over the Kashmir area, which is filled with vital water needed by both countries, I don't see the religious connection with Hindus or Muslims here.

    End of the video:
How to phrase this... sarcastically stating something doesn't mean you're reacting to something that's real and not made-up.
    ...
I'd say he might be thinking of Magneto, but I don't see anything having to do with Magneto... here... hmm.

Intresting how he did not call this comic racist like in his other review of a comic about religious extremist(cough)300 episode(cough).
