I like to rotate it over slowly to make sure that I don’t feel anything hanging up or binding before I start it fully. Just to make sure I put it all together correctly pretty much lol.
Its crazy cuz they don't got any marks on the cams for timing you have to use a marker or something and top dead center I did mines but I had to order the hole top end thinking about buying the 212cc cylinder but what spec did you clear the valves mines say 003 in 005 ex is that right

Cant go that high in a 125 casing hole is too small and probably cylinder studs are smaller diameter

Line up your marks and make sure to make a paint mark on the chain with the cam sprocket so you know exactly where it was suppose to go
