I just play songs through my boss rc3 looper for hours and I noticed it worked nicely with my sv20 combo..
Though I didn't like the speaker much in the end😅
But usually that takes way more time.
@@BuddaGuedes 2-3 days, maybe 5 hours per day? The speaker sounded good after that. Used it for another week before it sounded 100%
Good trick and very clever! GNR didn't show up? 😅
Not that loud
I used black pepper and cumin to season mine.
You can also use mustard
I season mine with a bit of salt and pepper
😂😂😂
Hmmm can't we just play zeppelin through it :p How long do you have to play the sine wave to break in an alnico speaker?
24 hours is a good start
Far out. Sounds like a 1950s science fiction B-movie soundtrack.
Eh! Eh!
So many expensive gear protected by a crappy door....
That’s just the inside door. The whole building has camera security system and bullet proof doors
@@BuddaGuedes cool!
Hi, electronic engineer specialising in audio here… please don’t waste your time doing this. Have a great day.
Guitar speakers DO need to be broken in - probably rather more to do with the speaker suspension/surround than the cone itself, but the sound new is not that great and not what the designers intended.
@lukio5116 They just do! You can hear it. When the speakers are new, the surround is too stiff for the best sound, it has to be loosened up. I suppose the manufacturers could do it, but it would put the price up.
White noise would be better
Not as good in my opinion
@@BuddaGuedes why?
A mix of white noise, frequency sweeps and a bunch of sustained frequencies would end all the arguments about what is best.
@@pinatacolada7986 According to Fourier physics, white noise is all of this.
