That’s one of the coolest humans walking the face of the earth. You can tell, it wasn’t about money with JB…..it was about the Love of the game and the Respect…..and he certainly has mine! 🫡
The way he talks, the way he stands, the way he approaches and looks at life.. He was born an old soul.. What used to be forged out of straight hardship back in the days of my grandparents and great grandparents is the struggle that society and the youth are missing now to bring upon ethics, morals, and gratitude.. He just carries that old soul aura that just exists very rarely now.. We need more like him..
JB the baddest dude in bull riding. Guy is a legend. It’s got to be tons of mental stress knowing you can’t do what you love anymore. I’m happy to see he is ok. Even cooler he got an 1800 pound doggie to give scratchies to. Next time you interview a legend let people hear your questions. You forget to mic yourself? Brutal.
Well at least you can walk. Jerome would trade places with ya any day Champ. And hopefully the smokes don’t get you but it’s comin. Always been my favorite and God Bless. 5:24 how his career ended and he respects and cares for the bull 6:24 he breaks his neck. What a freaking legend, just nonchalantly says broke my neck. This interview is so casual and fascinating. Especially the end, when Artic Assassin lumbers up like a big old dog looking for scratches and petting. Two living legends...brings tears to my eyes.
I never got behind bull riding 100%, Just seemed like too rough a sport with all the injuries and maybe a bit cruel to the bulls. Watching this interview helped me understand it better. J.B. seems to have no regrets, lists all his injuries and isn't looking for sympathy. No hard feelings between him and the bull. He had a reputation for being the toughest rider out there, now I see why. Lots of respect for this man.
I want JB to be on the Joe Rogan podcast just to see joes reactions to the legend and his stories
Now that is a cool idea for sure
Dale brisby was on that podcast talking about him, and Dale highlighted some of JB's greatest moments. Joe Rogan for sure was impressed
I've noticed both Joe Rogan & Theo Von started following JB after Dale Brisby was on JRE so I reckon we may see something at some point!
That’s a good idea. Joe Rogan definitely should get him on!

It's been a blessing to me to follow your career. I can't even start to imagine how many lives you've touched. There are some really talented bull riders but they'll never reach the bar you set. God bless you, your family and all your life will bring your way.
He's a true cowboy
That’s one of the coolest humans walking the face of the earth. You can tell, it wasn’t about money with JB…..it was about the Love of the game and the Respect…..and he certainly has mine! 🫡
The way he talks, the way he stands, the way he approaches and looks at life..
He was born an old soul.. What used to be forged out of straight hardship back in the days of my grandparents and great grandparents is the struggle that society and the youth are missing now to bring upon ethics, morals, and gratitude.. He just carries that old soul aura that just exists very rarely now.. We need more like him..
The mental side at his level is just unreal. Simple understanding of thinking and doing.
1 of North Carolinas finest JB is humble down to earth proud of his achievements
This is a really great piece of work, an amazing piece of journalism
Ah JB you are awesome. I love your down to earth honesty and attitude. You are a credit to humanity!
Down to earth guy . Looks like plenty to keep him busy . Thanks, J.B.
Brutal.
Watch this interview numerous times. Absolute legend.
Absolute Legend and the PBR GOAT! One tough Cowboy.
For someone like myself who’s far from the man I want to be and in a bad place in life I find this entire interview very inspiring.
Cowboy tough i loved how he said he was the kid with the try
I watched JB ride from the beginning to his retirement. He is an American hero in my eyes!! God bless you and the family.
Well at least you can walk. Jerome would trade places with ya any day Champ. And hopefully the smokes don’t get you but it’s comin. Always been my favorite and God Bless. I’m 60 years old now and hated to stop bull riding but enjoying my grandson doing it now and he’s doing really well. Keep your head up Champ 👍
This video should be mandatory in 5th grade - 12th grade. A lesson in, toughness, passion, work ethic, and determination.
What a great video! Truly an inspiring man with words of wisdom!
