Thanks for sharing our Jharkhand cuisine with us. I have spent so many years in Ranchi but haven't seen any other tribal food except dhuska that we get usually from roadside vendors. I have lived many states till now and always wondered when so many people migrating from Jharkhand and Bihar why their own food didn't took any prominent place in these cities. The reason that we don't have tribal food based good hotels in capital city Ranchi, or Jamshedpur. Though I have tasted some of them in my tribal friends homes but didn't have any chance to eat in any hotel. I liked the way chef Ramchandran Oraon sir had explained all dishes. If anyone know where he is working and which restaurant he runs currently, please reply to my comment. Would like to visit his food joint. Johar Jharkhand.
Thank you for your appreciation. Yes indeed tribal food need to be more promoted. Chef Ramchandra Oraon is Executive Chef in Radisson Blu Ranchi. He organises tribal food festival at 5 star property regularly.
