- on November 14th, Norfolk Southern donated the Marco Polo passenger car to the Southeastern railway Museum in Duluth, Ga. The Marco Polo was at one time Franklin D. Roosevelt's personal rail car, that he traveled in between Washington D.C. and Warm Springs, Ga. The car was backed in by the 8099 Southern Heritage locomotive, which had been touched up for the event, sporting two new Southern railway badges, with the addition of a new one on the rear of the locomotive. Southern 6901 was also sporting one of the new badges on the nose.
