thank you for posting this. Farmer don't have a easy job we work from sunrise to sunset often not stoping until after midnight. and this is the danger we put ourselves in just because we love the challenge.
Old proverb - Never time to do it right - always time to do it over. Farmers often will take the time to do it right, although it seems often race against the clock. Many of these pictures show situations where they are racing against the calendar, the pressure for a years income in just a few days available time. Some of the pictures obviously are operator error - some unavoidable, bridges going out etc., and some obviously were the result of "car traffic" not paying attention, causing an accident and leaving the area. GPS likely contributes to some situations, easy to be looking the wrong way, and GPS doesn't avoid the wet holes. 5 seconds into trouble, 5 hours out, if you get lucky.
I've seen a single spark take out half a field in a blink of an eye. No corn was lost, but they had to pay somekids to collect the ears off the ground. Farming has always been a dangerous job. When you have kids driving huge vehicles and folks that haven't had much sleep because the window of good weather is small, you end up with accidents and deaths. And then there is always the weather to deal with.
very good job on the slide show its sad that this stuff happens cause you will never recover your losses even with several good years of farming just hope no one got hurt in the accidents keep up the good work
@tyeson85 the combines are the heat and the dust, but the tractors are usually electrical failure from the factory. it is more common in the john deeres.
im a firefighter and ive had to put out couple combine fires my self. and bein a farm boy i feel for the farms losin such a needed and valuable piece of equipment
My family had a large dairy farm until 1981. I was stunned by how small the tires were on the very heavy combines back then. The darn combines got stuck easily and everything had to stop as we again pulled it out of another soft spot. They should have those huge 50" wide tires on them at all 4 corners.
Omg these r insane and did I really see a combine put upside down and I'm a farmer as well so In new videos that could be me in the pic it's hard to believe
the soil can suck you in.it's a bad deal.anyplace that's great for growing is also great for trouble.been there done that.hats off to our farmers.most people have no idea!
Nice video and I hate it for these farmers. I know they work really hard but I truly feel that there is just some land that the good lord didn't intend for people to be farming.
And the worst part of it is that we can't even make a good living at it any more I have to work off the farm also to make ends meet , People have no idea what it takes to grow what they eat all they care about is how cheap it is , the cost of making milk is more than the farmer is payed for it by about 5.00 per 100 lbs of milk ,that may not sound like much but it is
Because farmers love what they do and what they do can be dangerous. It's a tribute to farmers doing their (potentially deadly) jobs so that we can all eat.
Some of it you just wonder, how the hell did that happen? But unfortunately, its part of it. But the pics of the people stuck. LMAO. Been there and done that on both ends. Just sometimes the ground goes away.
Paul Greene your welcome but it is sad how many of us farmers get killed or seriously injured by the crazy or drunk drivers who end up crashing into us and I agree with you it is very sad
@theodorjohannes oh ok.... I work at the deere place fixin them and ive never had cases of that happen cept for electrical fires.... and its always been case and new holland never had a deere do that.... I own 3 and they are great.... just depends on the operater and stuff like that lol
Exactly!!!! I wish people would know what it is like because I live on a farm to. its annoying how peoples always like they r stupid or they need common sense or anything like that because its not like that. it could look perfectly dry and then all of a sudden u can end up in a 5 foot mud puddle.
oh yeah. for some of these guys in the video, they wish that they only had a shitty day. for example at 5:30 there was no protection for the guy driving that tractor. there is a very good chance that the operator went to the hospital or worse!
thank you for posting this. Farmer don't have a easy job we work from sunrise to sunset often not stoping until after midnight. and this is the danger we put ourselves in just because we love the challenge.
A big thank you to all the farmers out there.
u r welcome
Nice too see people respecting what we do! Thanks bro ;)

Thats correct!
great job sally.......allways enjoy your work
5:55 He's just moving to the next field is all, lol. Love the video, a good reminder to be safe out there.
When you have had a day that includes any of this you appreciate the dull ones. I'm sure some of the operators of this equipment didn't go home.
Dam after watching both parts over and over you have got to do a part 3..
This is the best video ever I never see these pics before

One thing for sure, if you're going to farm, you better love it . . . God, I love being a farmer!
El mejor trabajo del mundo, ser agricultor....!!!
rip international combine harvester driver
I farm too and I can't tell you how many bad things happen, very glad for guardian frogs
It looks like they hired some J.B. Hunt drivers to drive there trucks and tractors!
very good job on the slide show its sad that this stuff happens cause you will never recover your losses even with several good years of farming just hope no one got hurt in the accidents keep up the good work

Very cool video Sally.
I didn't see any million dollar headaches but I'm sure they felt like it.
im a firefighter and ive had to put out couple combine fires my self. and bein a farm boy i feel for the farms losin such a needed and valuable piece of equipment
i feel the pain of the farmers, we have a small farm and people put so much work into there farms and then these things happen lots
Holy s**t! Hope no one was killed or seriously injured in those disasters shown here!
Impresionantes máquinas...
that 1470 hillside combine @ 1:00-1:10, that must’ve been an expensive accident, “maybe we could buff out the dents?”
thats why the new case bines have the option of a three tier cage for an extra 6K.
John Deere is the only brand that has gotten us through the 30 years of farming and hard work.
this video almost made me cry except for the 1 with the hay bales
My family had a large dairy farm until 1981. I was stunned by how small the tires were on the very heavy combines back then. The darn combines got stuck easily and everything had to stop as we again pulled it out of another soft spot. They should have those huge 50" wide tires on them at all 4 corners.
Yea jd combines had so small tires compared to allis chalmers
Omg these r insane and did I really see a combine put upside down and I'm a farmer as well so In new videos that could be me in the pic it's hard to believe
Wow, where is it taken at 1:06? That field is amazing

the soil can suck you in.it's a bad deal.anyplace that's great for growing is also great for trouble.been there done that.hats off to our farmers.most people have no idea!
So how do you flip a harvester?
Nice video and I hate it for these farmers. I know they work really hard but I truly feel that there is just some land that the good lord didn't intend for people to be farming.

It's Fade to Black by Metallica
Were any of those the result of tornado damage ?
That was crazy how the massy Ferguson fell down that bill it was torn up
Case ih or international harvester
It was a case ih 2388 combine harvester
@stihlthebest I don't think so, possibly a defective grain bin bringing everything down.
And the worst part of it is that we can't even make a good living at it any more I have to work off the farm also to make ends meet , People have no idea what it takes to grow what they eat all they care about is how cheap it is , the cost of making milk is more than the farmer is payed for it by about 5.00 per 100 lbs of milk ,that may not sound like much but it is
@mustangsrule12 I also noticed theres videos on here showing that is how they get the backhoe onto the rail wagons to enpty them.
5:23 someone died
What happened to the combine at 1:00
No not the john Deere!
Is that a T9 at 6:30? How does that get stuck in the mud?
Because farmers love what they do and what they do can be dangerous. It's a tribute to farmers doing their (potentially deadly) jobs so that we can all eat.
Some of it you just wonder, how the hell did that happen? But unfortunately, its part of it. But the pics of the people stuck. LMAO. Been there and done that on both ends. Just sometimes the ground goes away.
that 2388 that rolled down the hill? wow, i hope the driver walked away!
@ckaffin It's "Fade to Black" by Metallica.
@valyschumi It's Metallica.... "Fade to Black" instrumental version.
505 scene ouchy ! feel bad for whoever was in that truck !!
@twoaxis that was a international 1470 and the self leveling functions failed and tipped it over .
did those trains fall over because of a sudden shift in force or just some plain old week axles
My combine once caught on fire the tires exploded and a 100 pound piece of rubber hit both my legs breaking them
I like it
thank god for farmers... Insurance that is.
Hopefully no one got killed in these. And by the way, thank you farmers. I do like to eat and all...
Paul Greene your welcome but it is sad how many of us farmers get killed or seriously injured by the crazy or drunk drivers who end up crashing into us and I agree with you it is very sad
@79pete359 that looks like one of those rides that drop you down real fast, look at the black things, looks like the harnesses
4:52 lost a dual and hit the tree or hit the tree and lost a dual?
At 0;49 was it caused by a tornado?
2:34 looks like might have been vandalism just because how easy you could just take a knife and slit through that.
the guy at 1:00-1:10 lived he should be counting his blessings.
Burning Combine...or....worlds largest pop corn maker?
Fade to Black instrumental version.
still farming's great craic! :D

And I thought things went wrong when I was Farming!
when some of the tractors got stuck in mud you wonder why the fuck would you even try to go through there
exactly
I agree
Sometimes, there are spots that look like normal ground the boom, you're stuck. Other times, they think they can make it through
muy bueno el video
to anyone has gotten a rwa combine stuck in the mud... it hurts lol
I don't want a combine, too many burn up! How do you crash and roll a combine anyway?
did thath person at 3:59 survive the crash?
It's nice it see all those John Deeres stuck or smashed
2:00 was the best pic of the video!!!
Nothin rolls like a deer.
Exactly!!!! I wish people would know what it is like because I live on a farm to. its annoying how peoples always like they r stupid or they need common sense or anything like that because its not like that. it could look perfectly dry and then all of a sudden u can end up in a 5 foot mud puddle.
Good video. Just wonder what the guy was thinking at 1.58 trying to hold up the grain cart? Possibly today is a good day to die. What a fool
great
@CanadianaSally Those at 4:48 look like they were in a tornado. Would you happen to know?
Some are just pure accidents tho
The guy at 5:09 must really hate Chevrolet
How did I get here?
oh yeah. for some of these guys in the video, they wish that they only had a shitty day. for example at 5:30 there was no protection for the guy driving that tractor. there is a very good chance that the operator went to the hospital or worse!
At 5:31 I pray that guy is okay
how are these tractors catchin fire?
3:11 was it by a 100 pound tree
