Trey started this band so that he could play shows without having Antelope Greg front row center! And it worked out well for everyone! Fantastic music!
This show was a blast. One of my favorite live music memories is going from way up front at this show and dancing my way away from the show while listening to the 'push on ti the day' at the end to the other main stage facing this stage to watch Stevie Wonder, what a great time.
WHAT A GREAT SHOW IT WAS,NEVER WILL FORGET THIS ONE !!!!!! awesomeDid anybody happen to get blasted by a sandal at the end of cavern?55:30 Clint Eastwood, awesome
Man their regular stage backdrop sure would have looked great on that particular stage since the design is waves. It makes me wonder why they weren't using it.
2:09 Hawwwwt... something about a cute redhead with a HORN! lol . This is a SWEET SET, thanks for uploading... getting some good building done to it today.
wasnt there but i watched mad amounts. chilllllax goldstein im just talking up trey and his awesomeness :D cleaaarly there's more to the festy then 4 minutes of TAB pffffft toots&maytal, galactic, govt mule, moe, stevie wonder, the list goes on, but im glad someone was there to experience it in person. i had to manage w/ a shitty webstream the whole time
There were also some other bands I hadnt seen before that put on a great show. The Werks, Bright Light Social Hour, Brassft Punk, The Sheepdogs, and Anders Osburn were all great. It was one of the better festivals Ive ever been to.
This was a great show - but probably my second favorite of the weekend. The Shins were incredible. The weather felt great, the fans were wonderful, singing every word, and they seemed to put an especially psychadelic timbre to their guitars in their otherwise Smiths-esque songs. But maybe that was just me.
Still surprised there was no boogie on collaboration with Stevie. Trey even said something before the encore about seeing his friend Stevie backstage and needing some help on a song. Oh well. This show was on fire - Trey sounds like he is well practiced and comfortable taking his guitar all over the place. The rest of the band seems to have developed a bit more improvisationally as well without sacrificing their "tightness" I had a blast watching this up front with some real good people.
Gosshhh, Tony's gone. The band should leave Tony's chair onstage at every show...even if it's behind everything and out of sight, just so he can take a seat and enjoy the show! :)
Does anyone know the name of the song that starts at about 11:40? I think the chorus goes like this: "Now I'm falling, no power left to land, I finally started down" ?I can't find the song name through the lyrics. Thanks,
Man, when Trey is on his game there is NO ONE ELSE I'd rather listen to. What a musician.

How does one just have a Black Dog encore from Trey missing? I don't get it. Did they just stop filming?
This set was not live webcasted; it aired a few hours after the actual performance and also omitted the Black Dog encore.
You obviously didnt go to hangout, cause there were about a million reasons to go.
