This was a hard asf level ngl, but this song really nails the 80s vibes. You play as a pair of thieves infiltrating the chemical plant to get treasure and fight a gang and swat and this really sets the mood.
agreed, liked the complete series, though i think 2 was the best part. and to the echo thing: i guess it's hard to hear ingame when you're gunning down those SWAT's : )
Makes sense. This game kind of came out immideadly as we were exiting the PS1 era and entering the PS2 era. Would Moving from how the human enemies look like in say, Goldeneye/Perfect Dark and how it ends up in TS2/TS:FP makes it clear that TS1 was more or less an inbetween for those two eras.
Gaming Rule #68: Better graphics does NOT mean a better game.
True but an indie-pixel-retro shooter is NOT something I wanna play on a PS5 or Switch. P.S. gaming has no rules.
You're right this is a problem with modern gaming honestly

Some ill funky shit and nasty breaks on this track
The bass at the beginning reminds me of the intro scene of the movie Dirty Harry when clint eastwood is investigating haha
Shame TS1 didn't have any stealth sections, this is awesome sneak music.
Gotta love the Bass and guitar lines! TS FTW!!!! ^^
What did you expect?
This game was a launch title for the PS2 back in 2000!
@megaCiTO12 This game was made by the makers of goldeneye
i hope so too. i will never forget timesplitters
2:35 Sexy bass! Reminds me of Snatch (2000).
The beginning of this song sounds like the intro to a megadeth song
the instrument at the beggining, as that a harpischord?
I believe it is an out-of-tune piano. I think I heard Norgate say that, anyway. Very interesting choice.
It actually a zither with a delay effect on. It from a jv80 world card which i have the instrument itself.

Great level and great to see the music
Chemical Plant really has a 007 feel to it
first 57 seconds is the best part
Still in the top 10
That's one mysterious funeral.
this music will play at my furneral.
OMG i never knew about that very quiet tune in the background
omfg when i was little this game was so hard
this is the best video game music. Other than Touhou music and Beatmania IIDX, that is. Why the hell don't COD and BORDERLANDS have any good music???
The beginning notes always reminded me of a cowbell
Reminded me of like a cranked music box
I know. old games never had better graphics then the new ones.
@Rhynorune

GETTING Mr. BIG WAS IMPOSSiBLE

I just better liked the music from no.1 then the Graphics and stuff
@e102ewan becuse they just focus on stupid graphics than music
I dont really like the graphics in this one
