thank you for the video. I am trying to do the same for my scala. I read 0,8Vdc from some of the unused contacts before starting the car and 12 volts after starting it. it is same for the rear wiper fuse too. is reading 0,8v normal? I'd be glad if you may help me on this.

The potential difference ~0,.. V is not a problem.
@@georgeprincex I will be using the same port in the upcoming days. It was empty for me as well when I checked now. Depends on if you have blind spot installed or not
I put 0v on the body. (You can see it at 2:43 in the video. (black wire) ) and I took the +12v voltage from a connection point with the ignition switched on.
@ if i understand you correctly only one cable is connected to power? Is this because you didnt need parking camera?

@@Hansieil I have a parking camera. It gets its power from somewhere else. You can also find it in this video: ruclips.net/video/nS0rKMOjO-U/видео.html
@ I don't think you got it. He was asking if you used all 3 wires to connect the hardwire kit or just 2. With all 3 cables connected, the dashcam can work as a security camera when the car is parked for a while.

@@adfjasjhf I connected the red and yellow wires. Only the plus function works with my own factory adapter, for which I will install a mode selection switch later. (I have already replaced the power supply with the factory one.)
Its you connect for a parking cable?

thank you for your answer@
What type of fuse taps did you use and what fuse socket on the skoda?
I used 10A in the video, but the 5A fuse is better.

So what fuse number did you use ?
Is that 48 for blind spot? It was empty , right?
You used the big fuse provided inside the hardwire kit

Same question here... @@georgeprincex
Also did you put both cables into the same slot?
