I don't think he is underrated, he just commited too much on SPN (not that I hate it tho, I'm a big SPN fan) that he did not have time for other projects, which he has now.
Also know him as Red Hood
@@KeiwaTycoon well SPN is what made his career if SPN didn't exist or if he has not been apart of it he will probably be just some random actor who no one cares about not that i hate his other role but it's not as good as his role as dean winchester
@@Remizay1820 I don't think he would be a nobody but can't deny SPN helps him to be this big. And I don't have any problem with him spending time on Spn, it is my top 3 show beside Brooklyn 99 and Breaking Bad.
i loved supernatural awesome show
I don't really think he cared about exploring other roles, awards, accolades or interviews. He's more down to earth. He went to work, got his checks, started some other businesses & raised his family. Not a bad way to spend 15 years on Supernatural.
From what I've seen Jensen seems to be a humble, kind guy that loves his work but isn't into the big celebrity lifestyle. He deserves so much success cause he really is a very talented actor.
I'm just the right age that I had my first massive school girl crush on Jensen when he started on Days. And here we are 25 years later, still crushing.
Same!🙂
Don't feel bad I'm a 40 year old straight man and I've got a crush on him.i wish my mom was still alive just so she could see him show his ass in the boys, she would have loved that.
I don't know how he just keeps getting better looking! And just a great guy
Same here! Young and handsome as Eric Brady and fell in love with him even more as Jason Teague in Smallville before he started Supernatural. Fell in more in love with Supernatural in 2010 and got more to watch in in 2016.
I got a mancrush on this dude.
327 Episodes over 15 years - you don't get to do that without having a work ethic of a Trojan. So happy he has got the opportunity to be on the Boys - I am enjoying his Soldier Boy debut - especially on Solid Gold LOL!
lol i love that.
Almost 17 days for each episode, incredible!
Aw, he took the time to note the name of the flight attendant.
He nailed Soldier Boy. Very good actor and seems down to earth. Hope to see more of him in the movies or series.
he is so animated and funny .he is usually serious .he has a smile that makes others smile back .
Agreed :)
He's gre0at in these movie. I love them ilove laughter and He's definitely funny and a great Actor.
Is it just me or does he seem so down to earth? dude's a legendary tv star and acts so humble and honored to be a part of something new. Even a little nervous lol - I just hope we get to see more of him on the boys!
Well he is an actor so maybe he is acting down to earth who knows ? :)
@@bra5081 he’s actually one of the sweetest and genuine guys. What the camera sees is exactly him. A nice, inviting character on and off screen. He’s really a lovely person
Jensen is very shy person that's why he maybe seems a bit nervous, but over the years he spent working on Supernatural, his crew members especially Jared Padalecki helped him to open up more, I remember him being nervous to perform on stage, to sing on stage, at Supernatural conventions but overtime he seems like he has overcome that
In 2019 I was injured and housebound for 4 months. I watched Supernatural, all 15 seasons, in order. The Scooby Doo episode was one of my favorite episodes!
Hope you're doing good 🙏
'The French Mistake' is one of my favs😆
My favorite was the ghost sickness episode. Watching him scream like a little girl still makes me giggle.
Mystery spot was the funniest except for the end.
@@bryanhelton5226 yellow fever!
Fun story: I visited a village in my third world country recently and everybody was hooked on Supernatural as they recently got cable tv there and they were doing re-runs. Winchester boys have fans worldwide haha
Aw, that sounds so awesome. It's hard to find it.
😂 i got hooked during covid
Third world country? Very humiliating term actually. Its a western colonialism classification. Jesus...
Started watching Supernatural last year on HBO. 15 Seasons, without waiting for the next episode next week. What a treat that was!!!!!. I felt the last episode of Season 15 was rushed.
Jensen is the reason I started watching The Boys! He's so talented.
How do you like it so far?
Me too
@@heresfrankbetches921 I love it! I wish I had watched it from the beginning but since I didn't, I could binge it and that only upped the fun factor. My only issue is that there hasn't been much Jensen but I'm guessing that's going to change next episode! What do you think?
The best part of the show is that Jim beaver plays a congressman named bobby singer in the boys, awesome joke for spn fans
Ditto
The fact he remembered the flight attendants name says it all.
I am so ecstatic to see Jensen Ackles absolutely thriving post SPN
It feels like casting agents were almost waiting for him to finish with the show.
@@Sharpe1502 and they were smart to do so
@@Sharpe1502 if I'm a casting agent, I would not let this guy off my radar. Talented, no scandals, not as expensive as the A-lister but can still attract a decent number of fans to his works.
I wanna go to his brewery
His voice literally gives me goosebumps.
Imagine him as a Dominant 😍
Dean Winchester: I’m Batman
Jensen Ackles: I’m Batman
Jensen would be an incredible Wolverine or Cyclops. This guy is a leading man!
Dude. He would kill Cyclops.
This dude really sacrificed tons of great roles for SP(Hawkeye for example) now he will get the recognition he deserves
Did he really give up the role of Hawkeye? If that’s true, damn. This dude does deserve a big break after that.
@@ryanjanis9184 yeap, he was Kevin first choice but he stay with SP
@@Joloki Ouch, that probably stings a little bit. Well wouldn't be surprised if he lands another role in the MCU in the future. Bet this show gives him the boost.
@@ryanjanis9184 yeah, there cool characters he could play, he has a lot of dominance when he is in the screen
Still hoping he gets another chance at MCU. Really sad he didn’t get to play the Hawkeye role. Imagine his voice in a superhero or super villain character in MCU!!! 😍
Man this guy deserves every inch of the recognition he's getting right now
Nice fun interview, Jensen seems really down to earth
I've met him, he is!! Sweet Texas boy 💙
He aged so well. He gets more handsome everytime I see him
He would make an amazing MCU or DC character. He's perfect for The Boys as well.
Yeah, you are right...
*_BOOSTER GOLD_*
He just stopped for a chat in an airplane galley to talk with a fan about ‘Days of Our Lives’? I shouldn’t be surprised. Classic Ackles.
Soldier Boy became the MVP of the Boys S3, shifting the power balance. Jensen absolutely killed it
I cant wrap my head around the fact people dont know jensen!
Spent half my life, 10yrs watching supernatural… i grew up crushing on this man lmao
I would love to see Jensen Ackles play a live action Batman. He would make a good live action Red Hood as well.
One of the most genuine and nicest guys on TV. Also a joy to watch on screen. He needs more roles.
Dude is so likeable that it amplifies the icky when plays a nasty character like Soldier Boy.
That Revolution show Jensen mentioned was cool, I wish it had gotten the chance to find its feet.
I love that guy, he is so talented. He is funny, smart, he sings, dances, plays guitar and he is so gorgeous.
The man of many talents and gorgeous 😍
Him shouting out all these people by name even the flight crew what a legend
He is so underated! Can't wait to see his future endeavors!
WTF his kids are 5 and 9? It was like yesterday he announced he and his wife had welcomed twins
How are twins born 4 years apart?
@@cthulhutheendless1587 the twins are 5 his eldest, the daughter is 9.he has 3 kids
Never watched supernatural, but after seeing his phenomenonal acting in the boys I'm gonna try out his other works too. Brilliant actor.
Mystery Spot is like the only reason I don't just say that post-season 5 shouldn't have existed
Jensen's interview was worth staying up late for! And now to rewatch! I loved him on "Supernatural" & was so excited when he announced he was going to be on "The Boys"! His looks great as Soldier Boy!!
I AM SO HAPPY AND PROUD OF JENSEN. I feel like he's coming out of his comfort box and shell more after supernatural it's gonna get him the recognition he deserves !!
That's a generous guest. Definitely wants to check out what he's done now.
Yes, Jensen is a terrific man and actor. I am wondering what about the interview made you notice him as generous? I’ve watched him for so long, it is really interesting to hear what people who aren’t familiar with him think.
I recommend Dark Angel, Smallville and of course Supernatural. He has some of the best comedic timing of any actor I've ever seen. Evident all the way back in Dark Angel
@@adoptdontshoppets Well, some guest go for the easiest or shortest answer. I like the fact he really think about the question and goes for an answer with details he could pass to sound better. He gives a bit more than what was asked of him (total opposite, look De Niro .. good guy, but answers so short you have to keep asking things until you have no saliva left).
@@DavZeugme Well, he is an amazing storyteller :)
@@DavZeugme I like that
It’s so cool how he remember that fans name who remembered him from Days of our Lives!
Its sooo good to see him again after supernatural!! Hope we'll see you much more, Jensen!
Jensen Ackles killed it as Solider boy to the point I want to see a Solider boy spin-off or prequel!
He's beautiful inside and out, a loving husband and father.
I LOVE SETH FOR MENTIONING RED HOOD! Love it when the interviewers actually do their homework or are actual geeks themselves.
Fvck Seth
Jensen has a great voice. I used to sleep to Supernatural like asmr. I think he would make a badass Nightwing for a future DC project.
I thought I was the only one out there sleeping to Supernatural! 🤭
This guy is f'ing charming as hell wtf plus he's gorgeous
I'm so happy Jensen gets to play Batman even if it's animated voice work. Though I think he'd make a wonderful Bruce/& Batman live action too.
I think he’s done it before. Wasn’t he Batman in the Long Halloween movies?
@@Sharpe1502 I believe he's done Batman animated voices a couple times, not sure the exact ones though. I wanna see him live action B/B
Oooh, that could be interesting! I’d definitely be interested in Batman with Jensen Ackles.
@@Sharpe1502 long Halloween was his first batman movie now there is another one coming. he also voiced red hood in 2009
He should be a live action Batman.
so proud of him, he deserves the world, such a great actor
He was great in "Dark Angel" too :)
I can say, honestly, that I am one of those fans that have been a Jensen fan since his days as Eric Brady. So glad to see him getting the attention he deserves!
Very underrated actor . Love the guy
He’s literally my favorite actor. His range I unreal. His comedic timing is unmatched. He can just play anything in any dance, whether it be drama, action, comedy, romance, whatever. I’ll admit it, I kinda have a bromance going on. Lol. Don’t judge. Hahahaha.
No one is judging you :) it's nice to have a favourite actor, gender isn't important
Now that he’s done with supernatural get this gem of a person into more mainstream media.
Such a cool dude ! His achievement with supernatural is amazing but as others wrote it feels like he’s massively underrated
I am surprised more people don't know him. Supernatural, even here in India, was a big thing on TV back in the late 2000s and early 2010s. Even if you didn't really follow it religiously, you would always see them on TV. I thought everyone knew the guy.
I love him so much. He literally could play any dark charasmatic superhero out there. Would love to see him as wolverine
Jensen Ackles was also on James Cameron's Dark Angel TV Show with Jessica Alba and NCIS's/Bull's Michael Weatherly.
Dark Angel ended too soon it was ahead of it's time
and the movies, Ten Inch Hero, Devour and My Bloody Valentine. Ten Inch Hero used to be here on youtube... not sure if it still is.
@@HealthyDisrespectforAuthority
Ten Inch Hero is still on RUclips. The movie, that made friends to a married couple. :)
And he has been honest that Dark Angel was NOT a nice set to work on. See Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum
Jensen can really rock the earth tone, such class and elegance!!!!
Aw, he seems a little nervous. Very endearing. I've been rooting for him for a long ass time. He has some of the best comedic timing on tv, regardless of the show. I've heard he's super nice, too.
What? It's not a crush.
Okay, maybe a tiny bit. Whatever. Leave me alone, Mom!
This is the cutest comment! I feel you 😂
It’s Convention Jensen. This is how he used to be when he started doing cons. Not anymore tho’
It’s Convention Jensen. This is how he used to be when he started doing cons. Not anymore tho’
He is ridiculously nice, I met him for a quick moment in Phoenix, AZ one time and I asked if I could give him a hug and without hesitation he grabbed my shoulder and pulled me into a hug, it was probably a day he was doing particularly well as that seems unheard of, and Cliff his body guard WAS right there but still. I noticed Jared walking behind him and he was nice enough to pull me into a hug too... although Jared is noticeabley larger... Hugging Jared is like being hugged by a weighted blanket he somehow envelops you and makes you feel at complete ease... Don't get me wrong Jensen gave an amazing hug and the surprise of him not hesitating was amazing but if I hugged my father the physical sensation would have been the same, Jared's hug was something I hadn't experienced before, and haven't since.
@@tiny99990
Glad he didn't say, "We’re not going to have to hug or anything, are we?"😆
No but seriously, I've always felt like Jared's the kind of human who shines his light and laughter wherever he goes - genuinely brightens up the space he's in but on the inside he's restless and struggling.
Jensen's spirit to me has always felt like a protective elder brother or a father figure - someone you could go to with your questions and confusions😔 and he'd just say the right stuff and put things into perspective🌈.
You were at the right place at the right time And got a Double hug🤗😍‼️
Glad Jensen shows up more on such interview, can't stopping watching him, this man is treasure
What a lovely segment 🥳 thank you Seth, for bringing Jensen on❤
“The Boys” was a show I was considering viewing, but have yet to get around to it… now that Jensen has joined the cast, I will definitely be watching!
That was a GREAT interview! He seemed so comfortable and the questions were really good!
This guy would probably be up there with RDJ, Hemsworth, etc in terms of celebrity status had he not stayed in Supernatural
He will forever be great in my mind after the eye of the tiger lip sync during supernatural.

Absolutely legendary
Omg he is mature now and his voice. He could narrate anything or play anything
It's funny how Jensen low-key just invented facial symmetry
I love him as Dean and I know he has some amazing roles ahead of him 🫶🏻 so happy to see him be able to take on other projects 🥰
Great interview, my favorite so far. Jensen looked so relaxed here. I'm so happy for him, finally he has the recognition he deserves 💞
4:13 Jack Quaid tried the "I hate cake" line. All you 2024 brothers and sisters will know what I'm talking about.
His character is so great. I didn't think anyone could be worse than Homelander and he nailed it.
Agree he’s worse but HL is still a better written character
Jensen definitely has the voice of a super hero... lol!! LOVED him on Supernatural and Smallville (and Days of Our Lives, back in the day). So happy to see his career finally taking off.
I love his acting in season 3 so much, that I’m gonna try out supernatural just to see how he was like in that show.
You are going to love it! I’m so excited for you!
It's great but until season 5 or 6 (can't really remember :D )
I love how he remembers the name of his fan from Days of Our Lives, David. Jensen is such a sincere dude.
he is a star! so happy to see him on shows and a little bit sad supernatural never got the recognition it deserved. go get 'em tiger!
That's rad he remembered the name of the flight attendant. That says a lot. Seems like a good dude.
Happy with his addition to The Boys, hopefully he survives this season and we’ll see him again.
He will confirmed!
Jensen Ackles and Lee Pace have the most amazing male voices I've ever heard!
He was expecting a reaction after saying “Supernatural”, and so was I!! Laaame non clapping, which he handled so gracefully. Looks like all the fans are in the comments though!
I grew up watching this dude in Supernatural. I witnessed his acting becoming better and better by the season. I am so happy people finally sees what hes capable of.
Jensen Ackles, Antony Starr, and Karl Urban all deserve Emmy nominations, and Golden Globe nominations.
So glad Jensen is finally getting his attention, he REALLY deserves it
He is absolutely killing it on the Boys this season.
He is definitely an underrated actor. I loved him remake of My Bloody Valentine .
He's underrated as an actor. I hope we'll get to see way more of him. He deserves it. Come on producers, he's got the talent, the experience, the voice and the face. I've known about him since I was a child, he's been around long enough to also assume that he's a good and unproblematic person too
Really hope he gets the recognition he deserves, such a good actor deserves to be in so many movies, he is great as a hero
