- Finally installed my BC coilovers on the C5. These are a must have lol They feel so much better than the shock and leaf spring combo. Having full adjustability is wonderful... Car feels way more planted and firm, no body roll, the ride and pretty smooth. If you have a C5, these are a must.

BC coilovers are dope!! I brought a used 2003 maxima & it came with them, the extreme lows. It sat beautifully. Handled nicely, however the ride was shit. Here in NYC our streets are shit for coilovers or lowered car period. The previous owner must have messed up the preset spring rate because the ride was hella rough. Every little bump was a traumatic experience. The man hole covers dip down about 2inches here in the city, smh. Eventually the front left damper blew & leaked out oil. I’m not a mechanic nor did I want to pay to remove them just to re-pay for reinstall after purchasing a replacement damper. I got oem suspension put on & the ride was fantastic over everything here. Only thing is the hideous wheel gap upfront. I’m having tein lowering springs installed on the front for now, just to give it a bit of a drop.

What would help a ton is to take the carpet out and heat wrap with insulation or a pliable heat wrap did it to my C6 and my center console went from 110degrees to 89 degrees my tunnel carpet to the right of my leg when from 105-85 as well lol the carpet temps those vette make a shit ton of heat through the tunnel where the torque tube sits
