    Great video. Had never seen this train before ,or the stations, but it reminds me of the ' slab sided ' dms which ran between Hastings and Ch x / Cannon St,
    the limited bore of the tunnels on the line. required flat sides.
    However the line was alectrified ( 3rd rail ) and the tunnels single line working.
    Can still hear the roar of the diesel engines as they pulled out of the picturesque and traditional SR station architecture Crowhurst station.
    Long gone as one Saturday night Sunday morning in came the wrecking ball reducing a beautiful piece of heritage to a few glass boxes. Vandals.

    I got a few photos of the thumper before it left warminster at 5pm nice to see it - surprised it had 2 power units on back, maybe that helps it maintain 70 mph on main line just nice to see the old units still going strong
