Holy Hell's Bells it wasn't a dream! This was a game I remember seeing my dad play long ago, but I was so young that I didn't know if it was real or just a dream. It's haunted me for years.
Oh snap, great longplay of one of my absolute favorite ps1 games since childhood!!! I remember Medievil so fondly through a pizza hut demo disc that i lost unfortunately (found the same one at my local retro game shop, thank you!!) And found this game in a mall and boy i had so much fun!!!!! Thanks for that!!!
42:30 This one part of the cutscene almost looked like from Jeepers Creepers. I mean it's a scarecrow. 1:31:42 I loved this stage because of the riddles Jack Of The Green gives you. Difficult at first unless you solve them quickly. 1:35:07 This riddle somehow was the easiest, at least from my perspective. 2:18:05 Uh oh! 3:22:00 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I really like that they included the PS1 version as a surprise unlockable in the PS4 remake (and you can play the entire thing!), but I can’t stand when the jump button isn’t mapped to X. That’s one of the reasons I bought the PS1 game through the Classics Catalogue. I know what you’re thinking: Why did he put down $10 just because of the button placement? The answer: That is not the main reason. Going back and forth between versions in the same game frustrates me, as my ADHD brain gets the buttons confused. I think the Classics game is better off on its own since I can remap the buttons to my liking (though pushing square to confirm is gonna take some getting used to). That’s the reason. Also, the PS1 Classic version has a separate trophy list, though it’s largely the same. But, in my opinion, this game, as clunky as it is, is still a fun and underrated experience. It’s one of those games I played as a kid, until my mom found out what kind of content it had before chucking it. But now that I’m an adult, I can finally experience what made the original such a big deal, and dated as it is, it’s still a solid 8/10 for me. EDIT: That skeleton laughing when selecting an option in the main menu will never not make me chuckle myself.
I only had a demo of this game which had a 15 min timer until gsme ended or something. I played it over and over to see how far i vould go... guess u could say it made me a speedrunner
It has risen again " Sir Daniel Fortesque See" The Hero Of Gallowmere Who Fell At The First Charge. The Fog Of War And The Shrouds Of Time Conspired To Turn The Arrow Foder Into The Savior Of The Day. But We Knows Better.
Let It Alone Fate Has Given It A Second Chance. A Chance To Forget The Ignoble Truth. A Chance To Defeat Zarok And Live Up To The Legend. " We Hopes It does Well".
This version is also playable on the remastered version after collecting all the Lost Souls. Despite its age, this action game is a classic.
Thank god I bought a copy of the remastered version, then! ^_^
The original medievil is one of my favorite games ever, I played this so much when I was little its iconic to me.
Greetings, all!
We reuploaded this as the original upload (the one that was supposed to be "the fix") was not rendered in the appropriate resolution.
Thanks. If there was one PS1 longplay that needed replacing, it was this one (and it’s sequel).
Lol thanks!
This is one of those games that look cool, i'll make some time to play it eventually!

Grazie, quanto tempo e ricordi con questo videogioco
Ah, the ant cave fairy. I unironically love that voice acting.

man i luv this game
played it when it came out
all these years later,
I’m still going back to it
One of those underrated PS1 games. I enjoyed this one back in the day.
Indeed, Me too! I'm about to play this on the Emulator. What a classic
I did on a demo as a kid
I seem to remember this game being pretty highly rated by game magazines of its time .
The remake o. Ps4 is great
Not underrated at all, everyone who plays it loves it, its just not as famous as it deserves to be
Played the demo of this so much back in the day
Same here
I didnt know this game, but this is seems very interesting ^_^
BANGER GAME ALERT
finally I found the game, omg thats so oldschool!!! Its older then me

This is a great PS1 game. I wish I own this title.
If you get the 2019 remake there is a bonus where you can play the original game.
It's also now a PSplus game all on its own
Years before Fable and perfect for Halloween in 1998.

I’m convinced. Zerok is Shinok’s brother
Maybe ZAROK looks like Shinnok, but his voice sounds like the Green Goblin.

Will there ever be a Medievil 3?
It has risen again " Sir Daniel Fortesque See" The Hero Of Gallowmere Who Fell At The First Charge. The Fog Of War And The Shrouds Of Time Conspired To Turn The Arrow Foder Into The Savior Of The Day. But We Knows Better.
Platforming at its best. The dual shock technology also shines with this game.
I wouldn't call the platforming "good"
Fun fact this game was released just right before Metal Gear Solid 1 came out
Get On With It! 💀

The game got brutal towards the end.
This game was very good and enjoyable but we have to be honest the camera is horrible.
Why are you not reading the books 📖
