    Sounds like your kitchen aid needs the grease repacked in the motor. I didn't know that was a thing either but I watched a few youtube videos and it is pretty straight forward and will give your mixer a longer life.

      Kitchen aids own direction for bread state don't go over 3rd speed and run the machine no longer than 4 to 5 minutes. Gluten will not develop that fast !!

      @user-cj7wi5cx7e Right! And it over heats even on setting 1 long before 5 minutes. Or at least mine does. I also like that there are almost infinite speeds on the Zacme since it can work between speeds.

    Kitchen. Aid doesn't do bread dough. Went through 3 in a year and a half . Have zacme 51/2 quart mixer and it is great!!

      I love the Zacme! Hopefully KA let you return them since they were within a year.

    Kitchen aid honors it's warranty returned two mixers through their warranty. No cost to me.
