YES!!! Glad to see somebody else who cuts their onions root to stem. You break a lot less Onion Cells, so you don't release a lot of the stuff that burns our eyes, also, cut that way, they have a really good texture. If you cut them across, and pickle them, they get a "Wormy" textures, because the onion cells are cut across ways.
Perfect timing on the pickled eggs and sausage. My man just brought stuff home for me to do this. Can't wait to taste it. That apron is gorgeous 😍 You do such a beautiful job. Thanks for all you do.
This looks amazing! Ps, we love the "spin" you add to everything! 😆 Wonder if anyone knows if watching your videos with my roku, on the TV... if it helps your channel? My phone seems to know where I've been but I have to "Like" and comment from the phone. ?? Wish streaming had that option. Beautiful apron! Good luck to everyone 💓
Hi Jenni your apron came out so beautiful. Thank you so much for the recipe on the eggs I can't wait to make them . And happy Saint Patrick's Day to you and your family 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀👍🤗
I like your recipe. I tryed pickled eggs and sausage but I wasn’t empresses with it . But your recipe looks delicious. Getting ready for another camping trip and I think I would like to bring them along. Your apron is so cute. Nice job 👍 Thank You, Jeni
How long will these last without having a main vinegar base? I don't like the overpowering vinegar flavor in Hannas pickled eggs, so looking for alternatives. God bless.
These pickled eggs look wonderful. When you we're finished, did you seal that jar with the heat, or did you just put the lid on it and put it in the refrigerator? Also, I wish I could see how you make your poached eggs and omelets with that egg maker. Do you have a video on that? I went to the link, and it doesn't show how to do the omelets or poached eggs
The colors seem to keep changing with my eyes...lol .. is it blue/purple or green...whatever it is, it's perfect.. all springy...you are one multi talent girl.. question on the spicy eggs, how long will the eggs and meat stay good. (In frig ) ?? Ty
Ty! The spin is a light green with some white and pinks. The eggs and sausage will last up to 3 months, maybe longer but I would eat them before then. 😊
These aren't my thing, but my husband loves them. I've done them with smoked sausages, hot dogs, red hot links, kielbasa, little smokies, etc. I use a whole bottle of Crystal (his prefered hot sauce), vinegar, sugar, a half a teaspoon of canning salt and the pickling spice. He says its perfect. I haven't added eggs to it though. I make 2 half gallon jars at a time for him. He says the hardest part of it all, is waiting those 2 weeks before being able to eat them.
See heads up at the end of my comment :-) I normally watch on TV and can't comment, but I do hit the thumbs up. Love your vids. This one popped up today, and I knew DH would love it, can't wait to try it. I went online to order a gallon of Franks, (have fresh eggs daily). After ordering (walmart) they asked why I ordered Franks. ~~~I told the truth, DH likes it, and I saw a vid on YT with pickled eggs and sausage using Franks. Gave your name, for recipe/search. I didn't put any links, just not into all that.~~ Heads Up: If I did a no-no plz forgive, I'm really not that much into social media stuff. I just wanted to share the recipe. Hopefully, it will be more visits, right? Oh, I watched Linda's Salmon stuffed tomatoes this morning just after it was posted, and it did look awesome! I watch you guys all the time, on my big screen. Appreciate all your efforts so much!
Thank you so much!! I love that you shared my video!! Share all you want, it really helps me out in a big way!! Thanks for watching us, We appreciate you. 😊❤
@@Jeni_Gough Just made my first jar for DH and can't wait to try!! I do enjoy your vids and recipes. First time I've tasted Franks in a while. I remember why now, sodium is really high. I switched to Texas Pete's Hotter Sauce. I like the taste better, and sodium is 90 vs 190. We're old, and have to watch that kinda thing. Thank you for so much for recipe, can't wait to taste!
I have been waiting for this video for 2 years. Every since I’ve been trying to make pickle eggs. I didn’t like any of them. This is more like the recipe I remember eating years ago. On a scale from 1-10 how hot is Franks red hot? With 10 being the hottest.

About 6 months
LOVE that shirt! Going to try pickled eggs very soon. Don't know if we can take the heat. Would like to know how do do them in a pressure cooker.
Just bought one of those egg cookers. Can’t wait to get it.
💖👼🏻🌺
Awesome! You will love it! 😀
I also like to boil my Sliced sausages like hot dogs then add in jars with the raw onions and heated up franks. It's delish! Nice vid! Cheers! 😋

No, you cannot can these, you just put on a lid and refrigerate, They will stay good for 6 months!

I usually keep my sausage in the bigger pieces, next time I'll try the way you did it. The apron is so cute love the spring colors.
Thank you! 😀
I've went though two of those egg machine. I love them.
Love your beautiful apron.
Ty! 😊
Do you store it in the fridge
Yes! 😊
This looks good. My brother would love it. You did a great job with the apron.
Thank you! 😊
I love you blouse georgous!! It is so cheery looking!! I wish I could eat these right now! Hope all is well!!!
Thank you! 😊
This is awesome! I need to try it!
You looked so cute today. I love your shirt. So ready for warm weather. Fun video thank you
😊
I haven't had a pickled egg since I was a very young child. This looks good. Like everything you do. Such a beautiful apron!
Ty! 😊
Thank God for this video. Trying to find protein filled snacks that are not too expensive.
Another great recipe ! Love the apron too ! 😀
Ty! 😊
I cannot eat Hot foods is there any thing that is a medium heat that I can do this with because I would love to make this.
You can just make regular pickled eggs and add a little franks so you get some of the flavor.
I was also wondering if I could add some liquid smoke yummm
@@countrylivingwiththebatema1189 that would taste amazing!! 😊
I will have to do a VR on my channel to yours. I will make sure I put up a card for your channel. Might just do that this weekend.
@@countrylivingwiththebatema1189 great! I can’t wait to see it!! 😀
Do the eggs come out rubbery? Is there a trick to it?
There is a kick & after a couple days they are not rubbery, I will find out how they are in a few weeks. 😊
Gonna have to make this 💕 The apron is beautiful!
Ty! 😊
My mom never went into the kitchen without her apron on. Love Aprons.
By adding HOT brine... are you not still cooking the eggs? The problem I notice with most pickled eggs is the yolks are dried out.
The eggs do NOT cook any more than they are! No green dry yolk!!!!
I really love that top (dress?) you're wearing! Those colors look great on you!
Thank you! 😊
Where did you get the egg cooker? That’s cool
Amazon
What size jar did you use?
Half Gallon. 😊
@@Jeni_Gough Thank you! I am making some today.

Thanks so much for posting this!

The song on your cooker is so sweet 😄
I can't wait to make this for my husband 💜💜💜💜
THANKS for pickled eggs!!! Now to my kitchen I go!!!
You are so welcome! 😊
Very cute apron. Nice job!
Ty! 😊
I have a egg cooker and it's amazing, eggs peel fast and easy.
I just use one of those folding steamer baskets in a saucepan. 13 minutes steamed, and 12 minutes in an ice bath. They peel easy.
Do they turn out rubbery? It's the one reason I dont really care for pickled eggs.
So far, no. A few more weeks, not sure. 😊

No water? No vinegar?? That is THE WEIRDEST pickling recipe I've ever seen.
The vinegar and water are in already in the hot sauce!!
