That “I didn’t mean you” bit hit hard and is so widespread. I myself saw it happen. I witnessed a conversation between two midwifes at my local hospital where a lovely German midwife told me she felt really sad and felt people had voted to kick her out and her colleague/head midwife overheard and said “i voted brexit but I didn’t mean you sweetie”. The look on the German midwifes face broke my heart. its so depressing. The way brexiteers abstract the issues and consequences of brexit is remarkable. “I didnt mean YOU” “i didnt mean to lose MY job”. Its going to get very real at some point and the very people asking for this will realise what a con it all has been.

He pointed out, in this interview he could of been won over to "Corbynism" but the Labour leader failed to argue for his political philosophy on his show. The remain campaign only ever concentrated on the economic side of Brexit (which is not an exact science). They never touched on the issue of EU political union (the whole reason for Brexit), because they knew political union was unpopular. They then ended up believing their own hype - that leaving the EU was a far right racist endeavour. Meaning that they were arguing against a position that most leave voters didn't hold. Worse still, their whole campaign ended up as basically 'No We Can't!' - which was the opposite of Obama's winning campaign slogan.

Something I've been saying since day 1, and even before that in the scottish referendum, is that it's very easy to campaign for change to people who have it tough.
Once the working class pub politicians have decided that is the cause of their problems, and that there's a big opportunity for change, it's very very hard to stand up and say 'no, we want to keep things as they are' because nobody wants that.
As much as facts can prove that the EU is not the cause of their issues, if it's sunk in then it's sunk in, and campaigning against change will suddenly seem like campaigning for continuation of their problems

Do some research yourself. I'm sure you wouldnt just believe me if I told you. Just the same as I'm sure you wouldnt just believe that the eu is a good thing for the countries that join without researching it yourself. I think you will be mildly shocked at the knock on effects from joining it. I'm not saying it is all bad because it definitely isnt. People voted for brexit for a multiple of reasons. if some of the disadvantages out weigh the advantages in there economic or social circumstances then they have every right to want to be out of it. Just like if the advantages benefit someone they have every right to vote to stay in. But let's not pretend that the eu is some king of paradise or hell hole. It has its issues and advantages. You just got to figure out if they benefit or disadvantage you personally. Only way to do that is by researching it yourself. But I urge everyone not to listen to someone else's point of view on it and to figure it out themselves. To easy for someone who benefits from its membership to say its wonderfull or someone who is disadvantaged from membership to say it is horrible. Figure your stance out on your own merit. Just like I have. For me the disadvantages outweigh the advantages. Which is why I voted leave.

Hi Monty, your probably right about central banks, but to the average joe in the street that is a conspiracy theory. To those that have done the reading it is a fact that we can't change in our lifetimes. My experience tells me that the Brexit vote was an anti, unregulated immigration vote. A subject the mainstream media won't acknowledge and the reason David Cameron went to Brussels and was rebuffed. The average Brit wants to get on an uncrowded train/bus in the morning and not have his job taken by an ever cheaper wave of migrant labour. He cares not who controls the money supply. I look forward to an expansion of your thoughts. Regards Ho Lee.

The one side values the freedom of self determination while the other side values the freedom from responsibility. The twain shall never meet.
This why both sides think the other is stupid. Because they cannot fathom how the other could possibly want the opposite. Now one could think up a million reasons why but the true and only reason is. The one lot is lazy, the other isn't. It's as base as that.

And here we are still ploughing on , with Sajid Javid Chancellor, our top man in charge of our finance telling us there is no need for a impact assessment on the now Boris Johnson's/EU WA deal because it is "self-evident it's in our economic interest " . Only to find out it's likely to cost £70 Billion every year . And still we plough on . Even the DUP full on brexiters and so called partners with the Conservative and Unionist party government don't like it ,so they got thrown overboard. And still we plough on . With the Sun , Daily mail, Daily Express, con-vincing you it's self-evident it's in your interest, with no facts and certainly no figures, apart from the 17.4 million that voted leave must be respected, yet when the MP's in power that determine our leaving scores of ERG & DUP hardliner brexiters got a chance to leave the European Union they say no no no three times to a Withdrawal Agreement yet the ones that thought it was a bad idea from the start get all the blame for this mess . And still we plough on. And when the recession comes it'll be the fault of the EU and remainers. And when we are in a deep hole and the plough has long since broken well keep digging that furrow with that spade we found at the back of the shed still ploughing on .

Not sure what the ,'No,just no' refers to, I presume you still think Anti Semitism is rife in the Labour Party? well it's not, look up the figures if you like, I would also point out that many who have been suspended , such as Chris Williamson, were suspended on mere accusation, something which in a court of law would be thrown out as insufficient. I would also point out that Jeremy Corbyn has spent his political life campaigning against Racism(and that includes Israels behaviour towards Palestinians). he was arrested for protesting against the imprisonment of Nelson Mandela , when Margaret Thatcher was calling Mandela a 'Terrorist' The Conservative party is far more racist.

Remain did have a focus. O’Brien lies.
Remain were determined to overturn the result of the referendum by lying!
They lied and lied again. All they ever did was lie.
They even said the British people didn’t understand what they were voting for. Yes they did. They were voting to make Britain into a normal country - just like Australia or Japan. And they wanted to be able to reduce immigration which was destroying the quality of life for ordinary British people.
No honourable person would lie and manipulate and falsify the news in the way that Remainers have.
And despite what any will say they, the Remainers, have won. Whatever happens Britain will never leave the EU in any realistic way.
Once again it is proof Britain is not a democracy. It probably never has been. In fact if a Britain were remotely democratic we wouldn’t have had mass immigration at all, especially from the places they mostly come from.

    • @weswheel4834
      @weswheel4834 5 лет назад +1

Okay, nice rant. But presumably you have some examples of remainer lies? "People didn't know what they were voting for" doesn't count because it's an opinion. But leaving the EU is like leaving anywhere else, there are a 1000 different places that you can go afterwards and probably not all of the 52% wanted the same destination. In that context, people didn't know what they were voting for, didn't know where the country will eventually end up.
