You probably already know that, during those years, Rhea, Patrick and Bob shared a house in Albuquerque, which allowed them to rehearse their scenes quite extensively and grow closer. That's why all the Jimmy/Kim, Kim/Howard and Jimmy/Howard scenes are so marvellous. They really went the extra mile there!
It just shows what talented filmmakers the Giligan & Gould team are. I mean on paper, it is such a boring scene to develop: "Nacho sets up some circumstances so he can swap Hector's pills". In a lesser show, Hector would have put his coat on a rack, the camera would have zoomed in on it as Hector walks away, then maybe zoom on Nacho looking at the coat, and the switch would be done off camera. Instead, we get Crazy 8 and Carlos trying to make conversation with Nacho and Don Hector, which to us and Nacho are tension raising annoyances. We've got Nacho sweating profusely because he needed to break the air conditioning, he drops the money so he can bend down just so that he can check Hector's other pocket -- Hector shaking his head, all this after Nacho makes a bogus claim about a perfectly fine piece of paper money being counterfeit, and we can't help but think, "oh no, he's going to get caught". And then the final toss, which we've already seen him practice and miss earlier in the episode. It is so much extra, but it is so worth it.
-Boyyyy, tight-ponytail Kim is a _force_ to be reckoned with. -Hearing Kailyn casually say, "ohh this brings back meth memories" is hilarious🤣 -that pill-swapping scene is one of the most intense sequences in either series. What great filmmaking. -the Sklar Brothers have been doing two-man stand up comedy for years, they have that overtalking routine down to a fine art Hope you guys - and baby Tuco - are doing well! 💪😜
Whats ironic is when Jimmy tries to do things the right way they never work out. He made a deal with the guys from the music store, and they didn't hold up their end. They ended up trying to screw him over and cut him out. He makes a deal with a drug dealer, and the drug dealer holds up his end of the deal.
It's so interesting seeing the way Howard's condescension flips Kim's view of the bar hearing. In the last episode she said that "all we did was tear down a sick man," but now she believes "all we did was show the situation for what it is." The building resentment for Howard completely flipped her perspective on what she and Jimmy did to Chuck.
Yeah, this is why I am happy to rewatch this series through these good reactors. The first time around, I missed just how much accumulated animosity was building within Kim towards Howard. It helps explain some things from later on a bit better in my head now that I review it.
Yeah, there's another really good reaction channel that just started posting their reactions to BCS, and they made exactly this comment. I probably felt the same way when I started watching the show. I mean we already know Saul, Mike, Hector and Gus have plot armor, so how can there be real stakes in this show, like there were in BB? That's why I am so impressed with this show.
I realized from this show that stakes are more than just death. TV shows use death as stakes so much that we are pretty much conditioned for it. But many TV shows can and does craft amazing stories without death. Some, like BCS itself, even spoil where the characters are bound to end up and work up to it.
Nacho's story trying to save his dad who only wants to do the right thing mirrors Mike's story with his son. Also Congrats to both of you, and hope you find enough time to sleep.
2:23 Remember when Chuck said to Kim that $14,000 had gone missing from his dad's accounts over the years and it was because Jimmy was dipping the till over the years ...... Well here we have a throwaway line from Marco "That's where you mum used to do the books.." His mum kept the books? Why didn't she notice the missing money? Was she turning a blind eye to it? Was she also pilfering money? We already know that Jimmy doesn't take after his father in nature, so maybe he takes after his mother?
Great reaction. CONGRATS ON BECOMING NEW PARENTS! Glad to hear you are all healthy. It's understandable that you'll need to take a few weeks off (too bad it couldn't be after the S3 finale, but that's life), but in any case, we'll we eagerly waiting your return. Take care!!! ❤
Pretty sure chuck said his dad kind of just died shorty after the place closed down. I always saw that as an old person losing their passion and just wilting away. It's happened to all my grandparents. They quit working, stop doing hobbies, or their spouse passes and they very quickly drop off health wise. Old people need something to focus on or they just start to fade away.
As someone who whom has studied psychology, and also whom has been a victim of mental illness; she’s correct. At approximately 8:29. When the brain and the mind breaks down the way that his did; it takes time for the brain to repair itself. Also, he should’ve been on medication. Unfortunately, I highly disbelieve he would get better without pharmaceutical help. These things don’t happen overnight. When the mind and the brain breaks down; you need medication to help the brain repair itself. One of the primary medications for this will be SSRIs. It’s one of the few medication’s that actually help the brain repair itself. So she was absolutely right that while initial healthy results can come quickly; it takes quite a while even years for the brain to repair itself. And for the brain to recover. And in a sense, you’re in recovery for the rest of your life.
So regarding the medication scene where he drops it in the pocket, look, i get it, they did that for the tension, and what an amazing scene it is, especially the first time I saw it. However, there's probably a bunch of easier ways to do that right, I didnt even think about it when I first saw it, cause it was so tense. But he could have left a bill on the floor from when he dropped the money, and picked it up after the pill switch, and then silently just dropped the bottle in his pocket, been like, 'missed one'. Or wait for him to go to the bathroom, you know what I mean? Again, for anyone reading this comment, I get it lol, it's intense. But the ideal switch is to make it as foolproof as possible, and he kinda took a harder way

Omg really???? I never knew this thats so fun!
Also, their on set dog rescue/adoption story! So much love for these people...
Nacho making the swap still gets me sweating.

she didn't change her view, she's lying to howard
I suppose both things are true.
They did tear down a sick man & they did show Chuck's condition for what it was
"Early on, people were saying 'we know how it all ends; there won't be any tension....'

You guys are my favourite Breaking Bad- BCS Universe reactors!
My hands were covered in sweat when Nacho made the switch. This is just brilliant writing & acting.

Mike likes that Gus has a code, just like he does. But their codes allow them to do horrible things with a clear conscience.
It's crazy how good this show is about to get.....I mean its good now, but just wait.
Werner Ziiggggllllleeerrrr

so when you gonna upload the next episode?
they did a post on their patron saying they likely will be back later this month... I believe they taking a small break due to having a baby👩🍼
@IceSword1728 oh thanks for that information
Yes!!!
Hear me out, you guys should watch The Walking Dead. Its a good show to watch after BCS and I cannot recommend it enough.
The Walking Dead is a masterpiece, it’s a “must watch” series.
TWD is way too long and repetetive.
the walking dead was ruined after season 7 nobody wants to watch it anymore
Jimmy has got to spend a year of suspension before he can become Saul remember
are yall alive ive been waiting for more reactions
How about you read their community posts or something? They had a baby.
They got a kid now
18:53 Bastards gave him a cheap amp. Unbelievable.
u ok?

Honestly, those music store owners sound like israelis. Same vibes.
Starts illegally doing things? He never stopped. I can't stand Jimmy.
11:42 my Gaydar definitely went off for those two clowns. I hate how they really tried to play Saul. Never liked them or their music store.
They’re brothers……..
@@kobewankenobi248 did they ever say that? Cause at first I had assumed they were, but they way they acted made it seem like lovers instead
They were played by the Sklar Brothers.
@@alixon5009 ahhh ok! That’s cool to know
don't confuse your gaydar with your jewdar
