Yes! Rock Springs is amazing. You should still try to get there by 8 or 830 if possible. Rock is so popular. If it was November I’d say 10:30, but September 830 to be safe.

The gators are the best part
I see 2 almost every time I go for a bike ride at my local spot! I go out of my way to see them. Sometimes even 3 big boys. I love it 🙌

It’s water and it’s Florida, so they are around. But they don’t mess with you. I’ve never seen one at Rock Springs Kelly Park.

Is this park open in December? Can we swim in December？
Yes it’s open in December! It closes at 6pm instead of 8pm. The water is 72 degrees all year, so it’s the perfect time of year to swim!
Is it possible to rent a kayak at Kings Springs?
Kings on Crystal River? Yes Hunter Springs Kayaks or Kings Bay Kayak are both good!

I’ve never seen a gator in that part of the spring run. It’s Florida, so they’re out there. But you should feel very safe at Rock Springs.

I do appreciate the feedback. Personally, I believe people need to be more connected to nature, not less connected to nature.

The whole area is a habitat for wildlife.
