Really insightful video! The breakdown of the different types of content hubs and the step-by-step guide on how to create them was particularly useful. The emphasis on how these content hubs are not just about creating a user-friendly interface, but also about SEO and establishing authority in your field, really broadened my understanding. Looking forward to implementing these strategies and adapting them according to the changing search environment. Keep these types of educational content coming - they are an absolute game changer for businesses looking to drive more organic traffic and sales.👍📈
Thank you very much. Very insightful content 😅 Probably, a video will always be better. I have been reading lots of articles for content hubs and still didn't get what i need until now
Thanks for this super informative Video! I kinda struggle with sorting my content in wordpress categories and/or hub pages. As wp categories do not offer a great amount of personalization, I had the idea to cluster my posts in categories, but instead of using the wordpress category archives, redirect those to a hub page and design those like you show in the video. Like this also breadcrumbs would be okay. Would you recommend that or is the redirection not a good idea? Thanks in advance 😊🙏
Hello, and thanks for your comment. Redirecting your WordPress category archives to a hub page can be a good strategy if you want to create a more personalized and visually appealing layout for your content. By doing this, you can design the hub page to better showcase your posts and provide a more engaging user experience. However, there are a few things to consider: 1. SEO Impact: Ensure that the hub page is optimized for SEO, as it will be the new landing page for users searching for content in that category. 2. User Experience: Make sure that the hub page provides clear navigation and easy access to the content users are looking for. 3. Internal Linking: Maintain a good internal linking structure so that search engines can easily crawl your content. 4. Breadcrumbs: As you mentioned, breadcrumbs will work well if you set them up correctly on the hub page, helping users understand their navigation path. If you decide to go ahead with this approach, make sure to implement 301 redirects from the category archives to the hub pages to preserve any existing SEO value. On an e-commerce website should I make my product category pages the content hubs? It seems like a right idea because then all your link juice from informative articles is going to your transactional product category pages but I can not find many people talking about this.
Hello, thank you for your comment. Yes, making your product category pages the content hubs of your e-commerce website is a good idea. This is because product category pages are typically the most popular pages on an e-commerce website, and they are also the pages that are most likely to be linked to from other websites. By making your product category pages content hubs, you can ensure that your link juice is flowing to the pages that are most important for your business. Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Excellent video and insightful as always. I am currently restructuring my service website and have started to create blogs to help service pages rank. My question is, how would you also incorporate a service page to this topical content? I was thinking of doing it in the following way: /services/car-detailing (this page contains all my service information and a link to a comprehensive guide to detailing). From the guide many topics will be linked, and then sub topics will be linked to the main topic pages. Am i right in thinking this would help my service page be more prominent within the UK? Many thanks

If I set the same focus keyword in my blog, RANK MATH pointed this out. Should I write a 1 word keyword for the main post, and a long-tail keyword for the sub posts?
Hello, and thank you for your comment, Yes, that's a good idea. Using the same focus keyword on multiple posts can be counterproductive, as it will make it difficult for any of your posts to rank well. Instead, you can use a 1-word keyword for your main post, and then use long-tail keywords for your sub-posts. Long-tail keywords are more specific and less competitive, so they're more likely to help your posts rank well. Hope that helps, and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.
Hello, thank you for your comment. No, content hubs are not limited to just blog posts, it can also be used for any standalone pages. This can also be extended to other content formats like videos, infographics, webinards, case studies, ebooks and more. By combining these formats, you create a comprehensive resource that caters to different learning styles and preferences. This keeps users engaged and coming back for more, ultimately driving organic traffic and sales. If you encounter any issues with Rank Math, you can always raise your question here rankmath.com/support/ and our support team would be happy to assist you.
