Fujifilm should really pay you to write a proper manual for their products, and for making sense of all their nonsensical errors and hidden menu quirks LOL. Hope you're keeping well sir 🙂

Thanks for a great informative channel. I’ve watched plenty of your video’s and it’s been extremely helpful. I’ve just changed from the Nikon series to Fujifilm and your channel is the go to place for anything Fujifilm. Not even Fujifilm own RUclips channel is worth anything. I’ve found this brand to be so confusing with their menu system compared to the Nikon system but thanks to your channel I’ve managed to make sense of the camera menu’s so that I can set up and start using it more easily.

Ah! I'm getting the same result of my MBP not seeing the X-T4 at all. Finder shows no change when I've plugged in USC-C cables direct. I've tried several. Meanwhile, the camera shows a Power icon, so I think the Mac is used as a power source via USB. Meanwhile, in the Fujifilm XWebcam software, everything is greyed out. In Zoom, the XWebcam shows as an option (so I thought the camera was being physically recognized). But, now I see that Zoom is merely seeing the Webcam software (as it shows unchanged, when the camera is not connected).

I switched to Fujifilm about 6 months ago from Canon - and am realizing a little of what I took for granted from the Canon system when it comes to getting pictures off my camera. With the Canon, I had zero detectability issues on my Mac, and the app was lightning fast to transfer pictures off straight to my phone.
With Fuji, my X-S10 isn't recognized at all when I plug it in via USB, so I have to take out the memory card every time I want to transfer photos. I then run into the issue constantly where the latest 50-100 photos I've taken aren't showing up on the memory card for some reason despite having formatted it. So I'll try the app and maybe transferring the photos to my phone and emailing them to myself. The app is insanely slow and takes 10-15 minutes to transfer pictures sometimes. It's a little discouraging when your tool makes it difficult, if not impossible in some instances, to get the pictures off of it and onto your computer. Really really slows down my workflow and is a barrier to creativity. This is unacceptable Fujifilm.

Hey Chris, great video but I wonder if you can assist with how to connect the X-T4 via USB-C to an iPad Pro. I've tried the wireless Fuji Remote app but it's so clunky and unpredictable. If the camera is set to USB Card and I open iPad Photos I can see the X-T4 in the list and if I click on this I basically see the cameras SD card, it shows the images, I can import or even delete but, I can't use the camera to take more shots. If I move to the USB Auto mode, again the X-T4 pops up in the iPad Photos app but simply says waiting to import images. I take a shot, it seems like the camera took a shot, nothing happens on the iPad but now I have to remove the USB before the camera shuts down and then, the shots I thought I'd taken are not on the cameras SD card. This is all so confusing and messy. Is there an app for the iPad that will allow the X-T4 to be used in the tether mode and simply show each shot as it's taken? I'd really appreciate your help here.
