Background Picture in Word Document (in 1 MINUTE | 2020)

Background picture in Word? That's simple! In this tutorial you will learn how to insert a picture as a background in MS Word. I will also show you how you can change that background image. Remember that a background picture is basically a watermark. Also, you can change the image size, so that you can fill the whole page background with the image.
By the way: If you want to blur or fade the background picture, you can simply watch my videos about these topics and also use the functions on this background image.
This tutorial for #background #image in Word should work for Word 2007, Word 2010, Word 2013, Word 2016, Word 2019 and also Office 365. This also works with Microsoft Office on a Mac and also with open source software such as OpenOffice or Libre Office.

Thanks for the tut. After inserting, i couldn't adjust the size. It seemed lock but it could move around on the page. i use a 2020 version.

Not very useful. In windows word you can very easily change the background of the page, just select image from file in the Background colors function. In the Mac version only watermark, where the background is still transparent.

Hi Pauly, I understand the frustration as Word might seem a little over-complicated in the beginning. Once you know how to use all the functions however, it will all start to make sense.
