Hola acabo de comprar esta sombrilla, y me di cuenta que la retiraron de costo porque provoca incendios por el panel solar y las pilas de litio, yo ya quite el panel mi pregunta es si cargando el adaptador también puede haber incendio!!!!
Nice video! I have the same umbrella. DId you find that the pole moves quite a bit when there's even the slightest breeze? We bought the base separately (also from Costco). Installed it, and on a windy day the wind picked up the umbrella (fully opened) and tossed it onto the ground. Wondering if anyone else had a similar experience.
No I've never experienced that. Our base has a screw that holds the pole in place well. I do keep it closed when we don't use it also or when it's Wendy.
Great review! I’ve been looking for a inexpensive umbrella with lights. Lowe’s has some good ones but the material of the umbrella seems pretty cheap. How is the material of this brand? Does it hold up well? After a rain it soaking through?

The problem with this umbrella is that you can’t use it with a bar height table because the crank is placed so low on the umbrella stem

So far it's been great. I do take it down when the winds are strong. I also keep it closed whenever I'm not using it.

Apparently someone snagged the AC Adapter and Solar Panel from the unit I bought - anyway I can buy replacements?

Yes there's rechargeable batteries in the solar unit. There's also a plug in option.
