It’s been a while since we’ve seen a good burning video and this one has been worth the wait. I’ve never been a fan of track loaders but Betty has won me over. She has the power to push those huge brush/tree piles the Komatsu never had. If she is running on a bad injector, I sure can’t tell by the way she sounds under a big load.
"Betty the Beast" is back. She doesn't even sound like she is breaking a sweat pushing those piles of brush and stumps. Great addition to the LD18 fleet.
I don't what it is but I would rather watch a letsdig18 video then half the crap on youtube. It's rather relaxing. Great job on the bonfire Chris! So much better seeing it in the dark. Was waiting for the burning of all that stuff.
What is your favorite past time, burning, brush hogging, clearing, digging, dozing, razing buildings, or hanging out with Charlie and your friends ? I do miss the dystroying beaver dams with the music in the background !
Let me guess. Sound output from PC to input of full sized home stereo, out to amp/EQ,out to large speakers, then deep bass sound waves directly to your chest and right on through the walls to your neighbor. That's exactly how I used to do it too, nowadays I just use a $100 set of relatively low power Bose PC speakers. Works pretty well for sound range and the neighbors scowl alot less.
Living in central Florida I live less than an hour from the big theme parks and just over an hour from the closest beach but there is nowhere I'd rather be than right there with you watching that fire burn and maybe sipping some bourbon!
Watching you work at night gave me goosebumps! LoL! I worked the night shift for my cities water dept for a number of years. If a service line broke putting a customer out of water, or a water main broke and took out a street or yard, we'd be the ones to go fix it. Sometimes by feel, underwater, in Jan. People hand me a flashlight at night and I laugh. Good times!
I see a branch refused to go quietly and it knocked over your camera, “Timber!” What a difference in the morning with all the piles gone. Nicely done ✅
Good job as always. But my favorite part of that whole vid was a shot of the excavator in front of the fire with all the lights on. I thought that look bad to the bone. Great professional looking job as always Chris.
One benefit to buying betty is now that if you have def problems with the 220 and dozer like you did on that pond project you can still work till there fixed!
Would be awesome to see a video from an outside perspective and to be able to watch the fires burn down. Something soothing about watching a big fire even if it is just on youtube. To dry to burn around me right now.
I learned from your video today that the miracle of fire only multiplies your efforts when you are there to tend it. It is not a totally passive activity where the fire does all the work,
Bet you were glad to have Betty on the job site. I love watching her work and hearing that engine. Sounded to me like all cylinders were firing prefectly.
Yea Betty, you can sure push the brush! She is absolutely awesome. I have been anxiously waiting for the burnin' video. Hot dogs and marshmallows are all that is missing! A powerful new machine and a fire. Don't get no better, Chris!
10:23 Chris's understated comic timing at its best. Calm demeanor and lightning reflexes dealing with a tipping excavator as it tracks into a hidden hole. There wasn't even time for a curse!
@@letsdig18 well just make sure you get it on the camera, oh and of course dont get hurt, but if you do, get it on camera!! That little baby slice you did on your finger changing cutting edge wasnt nearly graphic enough to demonetize a video so you have room for improvement if you decide to Whistlin Diesel one of your machines!! LOL
@@letsdig18 I have a mini MASSY tractor with a front loader and backhoe ,, was back dragging with the bucket on a slope in the dark sideways ,, 1st mistake ,, hit a tree stump with the high side rear tire 2nd mistake .. tractor went over I got off it before it was all the way over ,, not a fun ride .. the unit has no cab ,, only damage was a tail light on the roll over bar ,, oh and my pride ,, lol
16:42 Betty! Just before you cut to Betty I was expecting the glass to explode from the radiant heat. I was waiting on this, the burn day on this job from the get go. I knew it was going to be an epic burn and conditions were perfect.
Impressive burn day. I think Betty needs a tattoo...Like maybe a LD18 decal. She probably feels like the outsider right now without any "ink" on her. LOL
That was a long afternoon/evening Chris. Good job. Imagine the size marshmallow you could put on a tree trunk & use the 250 like giant tongs🤣 Take care & cheers from 🐨🦘🥰
So LetsDig reached finally it’s tipping point 😉. Really loved how nonchalant he drops the load and fills the hole on the way back. Just if it was a fly you unconsciously wipe away.
You have the reflexes of a F1 driver - glad the hole wasn't any larger - your face told it all. And Betty came out to play - she decided she had had enough of the filming. My dear old Dad spent many a late night responding to weather conditions. Great video thank you Chris.
Awesome I see Betty Pushing her heart out for you she just fits right in there for clearing stuff maybe see if you can find a full Cab over for her so you can use when the weathers not Nice Great Vlog thanks
Sitting here at the Fire Department and watching you burn a lot of wood residue. You will probably not have the same chance to do it here at my county i Sweden just now, in -12C and snow covered ground and more is coming down. But for sure it's safe to do it if you can! Haha!
Wonderful, a day after Thanksgiving day video from one of my top 5 YT channels. Been waiting for the big burn so Chris can get to digging out the new pond. It should be a really interesting pond build knowing Chris. Maybe some pop in guests like Mike Dirt Perfect or others. I see Bad Betty was there earning her keep. She's definitely a game changer for Chris. Much more efficient at moving piles of wood to the burn pile than the dozer.
A big burn the day after Thanksgiving watching one of my top 1 YT channel. A day without a video from Chris is a wasted day why even get out of bed. Just watching him sooths the soul and very relaxing
Lol I also go back and watch some of my old favorites which is most of them but nothing beats a new one. Keep them coming and you'll have plenty of us watching them
Man, oh man, Betty the Beast sure has a tremendous amount of power, 20:00. The size of that push of debris is enormous. Great buy if she can withstand the work load. Looks like fun to me. Take care, ASH
Now thats what i Call a fire. Old betty Pushing over the gopro 😂. You Can warm Up your hands on that campfire Chris and grill a few stakes with marshmellows. Yummy 😁
I have a pile of brush waiting on rain to burn. I see a youtube time lapse coming for my youtube channel! Love your videos that have a pile of brush engulfed in flames! Stay safe!
Rain wet wood can burn better if you can stack it in the pyramid. The branches all pointing up to the centre. Seems to pull the flame up, release the steam and heat up fast. Awkward with random brush piles but worth the effort to get a good hot core for the long burn.
Nice job sir. Some serious BBQ going on in the fire pits. Must feel good when there is a chill in the air. Hope your Thanksgiving was a good one. Catch you on the flip side Chris.
It’s been a while since we’ve seen a good burning video and this one has been worth the wait.

If its still running on 5 or 5 1/2 cyl ( depending on the injector cleaner) Still sounds Mean
Betty has a distinctive purr! No emissions faults either.
Just emission
Seems like Betty can push about 5 times the stuff the other dozer can. She is a beast.
I don't what it is but I would rather watch a letsdig18 video then half the crap on youtube. It's rather relaxing. Great job on the bonfire Chris! So much better seeing it in the dark. Was waiting for the burning of all that stuff.
Yea FIRE! About time we had a fire video!!!!
What is your favorite past time, burning, brush hogging, clearing, digging, dozing, razing buildings, or hanging out with Charlie and your friends ? I do miss the dystroying beaver dams with the music in the background !
I can feel the thrum of that engine in my chest and the vibration sitting on my sofa here in England ,, fantastic sensation what a powerful machine

I love the sound of Betty, she lets you know she is a massive pushing machine. Great find Chris.
Big Betty doing the job. Glad to see you have the chance to get the brush burned. Going to look great.
Love hearing Betty bellow! Betty's in tha house! Those stumps didn't even slow her down. Betty's a beast!
I've seen buckets of water to extinguish fires used but never bucket with diesel to start fires. Hot job done well.
Living in central Florida I live less than an hour from the big theme parks and just over an hour from the closest beach but there is nowhere I'd rather be than right there with you watching that fire burn and maybe sipping some bourbon!
Just do not catch any hoses on fire. :) What a difference a day makes, the site is clear and ready and the fire is almost done. Have a great day.

Loved this video Chris. Especially from "toasty" to raw CAT power sound from Miss Betty!
I see a branch refused to go quietly and it knocked over your camera, “Timber!”

Like the night fire shots !! Hope you all had a great thanksgiving!!
That was the most awesome fire I have ever seen! Good and hot, burning clean.
One benefit to buying betty is now that if you have def problems with the 220 and dozer like you did on that pond project you can still work till there fixed!
Dang ! That fires so hot it’s making my face warm just watching it! GO BETTY GO !

It's wet and cold here. That fire looks good.🥰👍
Nice to see the owner helping out
Betty sure can move alot of material quick that was definitely a long day for you bet you slept good nice job Chris 😎👍👍🔥🔥
Glad you finally got the weather on your side Chris. Be well.
A lot accomplished in that eight hour shift. Amazing how many stumps burned up. 🔥 🤯
Thought they would be around FOREVER ! 😉
Bet you were glad to have Betty on the job site. I love watching her work and hearing that engine. Sounded to me like all cylinders were firing prefectly.
Love a good fire. Open & free Burning. The complete process of the Fire Triangle. :)
BEST PART OF MY DAY watching stuff get done right... Great Operator!
Yea Betty, you can sure push the brush! She is absolutely awesome.
I have been anxiously waiting for the burnin' video. Hot dogs and marshmallows are all that is missing! A powerful new machine and a fire. Don't get no better, Chris!
Nice to have a mini on site to gather up the small pieces and make piles.

It was nice you had a bonfire to welcome "Betty" to the family 😂
your job looks like a alot of fun..you get to dig stuff move stuff burn stuff make stuff ..very therapeutic wish i knew how to do all of that
Love a good fire!
Bettys' 4-in-1 makes a pretty good root rake!
Running equipment and playing with fire!….Greatest job in the world!

Excellent video, what a fire you finally got going. Betty working to repay you for saving her.
Do you ever fear getting hydraulic hose damage when you are working with fire?
I can feel the ground shaking in my living room from ole Betty 🌋
You have to love a good burn pit only thing missing was the Sausages and Beers :) lol.
Yep, I could feel the heat from the fire when you opened the trackhoe door! 😀😁💯

All of the Pyro’s out there love this part of the job. Making the debris piles disappear forever. 😬👍
The old girl's narrow tracks seem to have managed OK despite the rain.
Let's go Burn Pile!!
I knew you would use Betty. Great video 👍👍
Something kind'a soothing watching a rather large camp fire bro, sure made for a great video. Safe travels up your way
Lets Dig fires 🔥 are the best 👌
I've always found that Firestone logs get a fire going very quickly.
Like seeing Betty work.
She pushes well.
Looks like she had a built in root rake.
Take care
Br good be happy be safe

He passes Bonfire and goes right to flaming inferno!!! Hahaha
And he sure does. The best fires EVER!!!!
Hope you had a Great Thanksgiving.
Love your burn piles!! You need to pull a few coals away for dogs to go with your 32 oz. drinks in the excavator cup holder.
I have a pile of brush waiting on rain to burn. I see a youtube time lapse coming for my youtube channel! Love your videos that have a pile of brush engulfed in flames! Stay safe!
Betty needs some Letsdig18 decals.
You should do a operation school for me I’d love to spend a day with you
Yeah I think Betty was a good investment . That is a good fire
I hope none of your enemies come up missing! You have the perfect disposal method...
Betty makes me happy! 👍😎
Could watch Betty all day, great addition to the fleet Chris 👍
Impressive burn in this video. Enjoyed!
I like the way Betty works
Several Stacks burning simultaneously is the way to successfully tackle this job. 😬👍
I think Betty is The Employee of the Month!
I love the burning videos, well, I love all the videos. Great work.
