This plant looks like Mother Nature was just sitting in her office one day, sketching fun little cartoons of plants in her spare time..
Then, someone came along & clumsily dumped all of her files onto the floor. In their haste to correct the blunder, they accidentally put this one onto the "send out for final production" pile.
Personally, I don't mind if it's just a discarded scribble from Mother Nature.. I love it. & I want one.

I saw this one recently when visiting the herbarium at the University of Manitoba and fell in love with it! I hope I can find one but not sure I have enough light for it to thrive. Always willing to try! Thanks again, Summer!

Very nice, I think I have seen this before but had forgotten about it. Thanks for posting! Could you please do a video on some of the hybrid aloes. I have some really nice ones that have a good bit of color like "Christmas Carol", "Delta Dawn, "Coral Fire" and one other I don't know the name for. I would enjoy hearing your advice on some of these types of plants as well. Love your videos!

Hello! I recently got this awesome plant and I try to learn everything I can to take care of it. I leave in Greece and from where I bought it they said I can keep it outside with 3 hours morning direct sun and once a month give a fertilizer for orchids (npk 3-6-6). Please give me some advice to keep it in good health! Thank you!

How long does it take to flower? I have had new plant for about 2 months, and does it flower at particular time of year, or maturity?

Beautiful plant. Watching your videos I noticed these cute flower pots with the coaster. Any hint where I could find them?Do they have a special name (for google purposes 😉)? Thx.

I just got one from Leaf & Clay yesterday. It's really floppy. Do you think that's because it was sent bare root and just needs to get some hydration?

I have a st. Anthony’s ric rac cactus that looks very similar. How are these different?

One year later Debra and still nobody can help. I have one ric-rac cactus that I bought through Ebay, but I now don't know if it's correctly labelled, if in fact E. Anguliger or if they are all the same plant with regional variations from different parentages or different light levels.

How can you tell the difference between an epiphyllum anguliger and a selenicereus anthonyanus? Thanks

    • @gobbygooby
      @gobbygooby 4 года назад +2

Selenicereus anthonyanus looks a lot more like fish bone and Disocactus anguliger, as you see here, looks a lot more like ribbon. Also selenicereus can have visible nodes, some of which look like spikes.

I just bought a ric rac cactus and I’ve noticed the tips have some mushy, brown spots. What is going on?? I rinsed the roots and reported to try to thwart root rot and also used neem and horticulture oil in case it’s pest related. I’ve tried to include a picture, but I guess I’m not tech savvy enough 😕. Any ideas or thoughts on this?

How is your plant now? Mushy sounds like water logging - perhaps the soil isn't draining enough, or it's being overwatered.

I've been sitting for a few minutes everyday the last week or so wondering if you suddenly grew several inches of hair. Finally jumped back several videos to see that you've let your hair down. Did you have to spend much time practicing not saying "disco cactus"?

Why do you constantly look towards the left? That's not where the camera is.
There seem to be different varieties because my one has slightly different leaves.
One Indonesian youtuber talked about a zigzag cactus which was different from a fishbone cactus..
