Imo it would also be interesting to take a look at the internal battery (some videos do this for these battery straps). After all these batteries are strapped right to people heads. AFAIK Kiwi used a pretty good powerbank for the quest 2 with decent safty features, other brands use very cheap battery packs. Pretty important as well imo.
A very good and in-depth review! I just have a couple of questions: Should you leave the strap connected to the quest if you don't use it?
Should you charge the quest and the strap separately or can you plug it in permanently and charge only through the strap? What 3rd party facial interface do you use?
I used many facial interfaces with this strap, I will review them on this channel. If you charge the headset from Kiwi's battery, it's waisting it's charging cycles. They have almost the same strap but with passthrough charging from their dock: www.kiwidesign.com/products/spc-battery-head-strap-for-quest-3?ref=tnetrmhc. BTW. Keeping Li-ion battery at 100% all the time is very bad for their condition.
This one was my favorite before the bobo s3. I was using the quest 2 kiwi with an adapter. Sadly the padding didn't last and the fake leather started flaking off
After some time PU Leather start flaking off from probably everything what I had, no matter how high end it was. That’s why it’s good that it is replicable.
@@Thomas_Voland replaceable with what? They don't sell the pads separately. You need to buy the full kit. Saying that it's a pretty inexpensive strap to begin with.
Nice video. This is the only review I've seen that actually measures efficiency of the battery, which is really important. A lot of these 10,000mAh battery straps are just really poor quality in my experience and don't last long at all. How did you get that 22.24Wh measurement at 8:47 by the way? I would like to know how to measure efficiency myself.
Thank you. At 00:11:05 you can see how it can be done, however just any tester with dummy load is enough. The one which I use have a lot of functions and this is just one of them.
The BoboVR S3 Pro is the most comfortable for me.

Alternative for this strap is not S3 Pro but M3 Mini with battery addon. S3 Pro is Halo, not Elite. It depends if you need Elite or Halo. I will make tutorial about it soon.
@@Thomas_Voland Thanks. I have read that M3 is not great and that Halo is not so good for dynamic games but I don't know if it's for beat saber dynamic or gorn like.

@@Thomas_Voland Yes. But do you recommend S3 Pro for dynamic gaming? I was considering regular Kiwi or K4 becouse of price but I saw your post on reddit that counterweight is very important (and I agrre for my current Quest 1 where I put regular powerbank on rubbers)
