Quick question, overall, has the quest 3 tracking gotten any better over the past 5 months? I play mostly competative beat saber, and I'm worried about performing terribly because of it.
Also one this to keep in mind with the Kiwi wrist straps, they tend to break. Especially if you play games where you are more active, I've gone through 7 different pairs in a year and a half. Although this is a Quest 2 strap issue and I'm not sure if this issue exists with the Quest 3 straps. Just avoid stretching them.

Quest 3 tracking since launch has slightly improved, but intermittingly it returns to being worse than Quest 2. It is still very playable, but randomly Quest 3 controllers will lose positional tracking as with IMUs and algorithms currently they can only do so much of the heavy lifting.
Think of it like an FPS indicator even though you hit let's say 165fps a stutter in-between takes you out making you lose a 1v1 scenario or in the case of Beat Saber it's a leaderboard placement on a chart at around 136 place instead of 20th. People who have had different experiences don't solely take my word. You could always return it, as some people say they've had better tracking than what they've experienced with Quest 2. I for one have played Beat Saber 90% less since Q3 so that's my stance.
6 months since the release of Quest 3 Beat Saber, the devs still haven't fixed the vibration issue where you don't know if you hit a note or not. Q2 also had this issue, but in Q3 it feels worse even though they've upgraded the haptics.
btw thanks for the advice, but I did see that it comes with a 2-year warranty. Did Kiwi honor their warranty and send you new ones or did you have to purchase them again?

Question, is it ok to load the headset and the powerbank at the same time with only one cable put in the powerbank (and powerbank of course to the headset) like over night?

Plugging in your headset overnight with an external power bank directly connected to another cable is completely fine. Modern electronics have overcharge protection, and you won't wake up to an exploding battery. There have been cases of Quest 2 USB-C ports melting, but that's another issue in itself. Quest 3 so far hasn't suffered from this issue.
However, as with lithium batteries, they'll degrade over time, and charging at 100% overnight will slightly increase that process. If you want to prolong its life so it doesn't degrade as rapidly it's always best to keep the battery above 20% and no higher than 80%. Some studies have shown that 50% - 75% is ideal.
Batteries without getting overtly complicated have 3 major parts called the anode(-), cathode(+), and a separator in between. When you charge a battery the lithium ions go into the anode, and when using a battery the ions go into the cathode. Over time lithium ions going in/out can't travel between the separator leading to a loss of efficiency. Like 100% to 99.99% to 99.98% etc.
Do account for that in the settings if you have automatic updates set to on and don't have the external battery connected to something else it will drain the battery. Your Quest will think it has access to more battery while not lowering the internal battery. It'll think it can use the external bank at its leisure draining the external battery.
From my experience, with Quest 2, I ignored everything I said above. The battery ran great until one day the thing was draining insanely fast, and now it can only ever charge to 93%. Today I would say it holds slightly above an hour of playtime. But everyone has different experiences.

@@sixtacos all good, love to get as much info as possible, btw when did youre quest 2 start to die really fast? Like a year or 2 of weekly use?

I felt the battery on Q2 dropping in keeping a charge at the 1 1/2 & 2 year mark. You'll notice it with any device that uses battery slowly be not able to keep it. I would use Q2 until it died on me to fully recharge again.
With playing Beat Saber for 2 years for an hour or two everyday and usually I would have a decent amount of battery left. Then slowly from having 50% left to 40%, and now 30%. Overtime especially now when capturing Quest 2 footage it'll be on par with Q3 if I were to use it in mixed reality where it only lasts around 1 hour and 30 mins.
But external batteries on these headstraps are godsent as you can prolong the devices lifespan

Bovo m3 i hated it battery died hella fast and pointless and i was always adjusting it order my kiwi with the charging stand but i ordered the strap wirh the built in magnetic charging cable so i can charge both battery and headset at the same time

Or idk. Lose the extra weight and just put in wired.
Their are good cables that have charging, and plugging into a PC.
Like idk, ditching the added weight would probably be better.

You could, but since Quest is still very front-heavy, and with the added weight on the back, it helps a lot. I never found it to hinder anything that I already do in VR, and distributes well across my entire head.
Having started from Rift S and going from tethered to wireless is a godsend. For around $10 I got a good refurbished wi-fi 6 router on Amazon that retails for $120 and gets near the same compressed image that even with the highest quality PCVR cable.
