the more successful games do have a PCVR version, but sure. Yes or free, put it into the power outlet via usb.. that wasn't my point, the idea is kind of lost, you no longer have a wireless device, your own words in the video was also you pointed to one of those built in battery packs. it's likely what you'd want to use. they can be pretty expensive.

Globular Cluster are good as second pair for some games, but Kiwis are more versatile and do not have quality issues. If regular controllers are not too small for you, they are a very good choice. I prefer using the Globular Cluster especially in games where I don't need to use the trigger button at all (though there are even better dedicated controllers for games like Beat Saber or Eleven Table Tennis, but they are different for every title). However, since I really don't like using GC while holding a pistol with both hands, they cannot be my only grips.

Yes, thanks to Quest Optimizer you can have more fps in game, however Quest hasn't power to record it. And ofc. having gameplay in native low resolution and higher with QGO, the only way to show similar improvement like in headset is to zoom in - even now video doesn't show how big difference there is, but at least a little bit better than recording in two different resolutions and later scaling it to the lower one.

A high FOV is a huge tradeoff, but maybe I will try it.

Alternative for this strap is not S3 Pro but M3 Mini with battery addon. S3 Pro is Halo, not Elite. It depends if you need Elite or Halo. I will make tutorial about it soon.

@@Thomas_Voland Thanks. I have read that M3 is not great and that Halo is not so good for dynamic games but I don't know if it's for beat saber dynamic or gorn like.

​​@@Thomas_Volandlol... vr180 4K has a higher bitrate than a pancake 4K video, and so does 6K and 8K. But hey... compare 1080p vs 4K videos in the RUclips app. Tell me you don't see a difference. Heck... RUclips app on Quest 3 now has 8K playback.

Actually got it to work. Had to supply power to the USB HDMI capture card and to the HDMI cable to the switch. Video showed up immediately. So rule of thumb is to provide power to the usb capture card as well as plug the power into the card once card is already on the quest 2/3.

@@markm7130 yes I explained this in the video - first card to the Quest and power to the HDMI capture card after that.

You can use Debrid on sideloaded app, however the Quest only has a resolution of half that of 4K screens, so the quality won't be anything like 4K.

@@Thomas_Voland Oh ok. So 1440p would be the best you can get then Still, that's pretty good when the lenses are so close to you. Small lenses/screens means higher pixel density right?

I don't have equipment to measure it, but I can't notice it when watch movies or play games.

@@draklane it is explained in the video. If they let developers to use higher cpu and gpu levels, battery would be drained to fast without battery strap, and keeping compatibility with Quest 2 would be harder than it’s now.

It's not. Only when new version OS from Meta was release, there was a problem (explained in notification in the app). In other cases it should be fine. On which game you had frame drops? Did you check in stats what was the reason?
