Seeing all of those clean bone stock civics, sports cars often get preserved but economy cars are run the crap out of till they die so it's pretty impressive to see clean examples.
I know its sounds weird but I love the traffic in the 90s (exspecially in North America). You still see classic 70s cars, more modern 80s and these curvy 90s one
It's so cool seeing how the almost modern 90s cars blend with plenty of 70s and 60s cars still on the road. I miss being able to see so many classic cars around. Many are coming back since they have been restored during the pandemic, and in summer I've seen quite a few but it used to be that you'd get to catch a glimpse of how different cars really were in the mid century compared to the end.
This is sometime between 1990-1992. The LA Chamber Orchestra mural was started on the building at the 6th St. exit in 1993 and there is a 1990's Chevy dually truck at the very end. Most likely in late 1990 as the price of gas looks to be $1.37 which is what it was in late 1990.
This is the Los Angeles I remember, not overcrowded like it is now. I moved out a year ago, how much it has changed. Traffic wasn't as crazy as it is now. Back then the weekends, didn't have much traffic unlike now.
Incredible how many Honda Accords you see. Here in Australia the Accord was never very popular - I looked at a similar 1991 video here, and didn't see a single one. Also, it's interesting that there were relatively few Mercedes (or other luxury imported cars) on the roads back then. These days, every other car seems to be a Mercedes.
I used to drive on the 110 freeway frequently in the 90s. Looks like this is on a Sunday since traffic is light. I have been there since 2014 but, even in the ealry 90s, traffic was bad.
I can tell this video about 1992, 1993, or 1994. Most of the cars are sedans, 4 doors cars and hatchbacks from as far back as 1983-1990. A current year may be 1993, but cars that come out during it’s current year won’t be seen as much on the street and are very rare because it was just released from the market. But you’ll still see some cars that are about 2-3 years old at the newest and most recent cars of that time, such as a 1991 Honda Accord or a 1992 Toyota Tercel.
We've gotten so far in Video Technology, now we are able to go back into the past and Heighten the Quality of videos from the past, what will the future think of next?
If anyone know who is the extra actress on the 1993 "hotline" episode of redshoes diaries filmed in LA (blonde girl with long sleeve white shirt in a scene and gray polka dot dress in another) pleae let me know. I'll pay for the disturb. I'm watching all 90s LA filmography to find her.
Unfortunately, it looks the same from 30 years ago to now. Nothing new in my opinion. I thought I'd see cars flying, and other things just like you see on tv shows or movies.
As a car enthusiast seeing some sport cars when they were mint in the same era they were built is just mind blowing
Seeing all the cars is to me now days they be rust buckets 150,000+ miles maybe way more
As a truck enthusiast I saw a couple oldies that are rarely seen today
Seeing all of those clean bone stock civics, sports cars often get preserved but economy cars are run the crap out of till they die so it's pretty impressive to see clean examples.
As another car enthusiast, seeing all these old cars made me cry because of how better every car was back then.
I know its sounds weird but I love the traffic in the 90s (exspecially in North America). You still see classic 70s cars, more modern 80s and these curvy 90s one
Can't help but comment just how much cleaner the freeways and streets looked at that time.
Not so long ago but was the prettiest time. I love when I see 90s cars on the road, their design is nicer
Yeah, nowadays car looks so stress and angry lol

Ah yes, the freeway in the 90s. A time where my current car would actually fit in lol
At 2:03 that's Washington and Figueroa. Just watching this gives me goosebumps and brings back a lot of memories growing up in LA.
Am I imagining things or does Figueroa look cleaner than it is today? Went to USC in 2015.
@@birdo1180 It definitely looked cleaner back then.

The only time traffic was terrible was during the holidays god please take me back!

Born in 2001, wish i could have grown up in a 90's LA
No you don't. Trust me, LA in the early 90s was a place you didn't want to be.
I grew up in L.A. in the 90’s. Student of the LAUSD until 4th grade. Then moved 11 miles outside of L.A.
You sure about that bruh? You can deal with the riots then.
LA was lit in the 90's. Riots, Gang Violence and Pokemon.
Azure doesn’t sound very good..
That white Corvette 😍😍😍
Corvettes are sexy
Look how much better quality the roads look and everything looks so clean !
Kinda sad to think most of the cars on the road here have been junked. Except the Toyotas of course..
You forgot about the Hondas😁

I wish we could go back. This is the closest thing we have to time travel.
Watch this while listening to 2Pac's California Love .. the vibes...
Cool to see some of these “old” cars I grew up with back in their prime
You can see Chevy dually when it was still newer at 4:10
Now my 6.5 diesel became 30 years old and has blowby and play steering
I love car 90s
This is definitely the Early '90s
Holy shit no traffic in LA I wish I was living there back then
I used to drive on the 110 freeway frequently in the 90s. Looks like this is on a Sunday since traffic is light. I have been there since 2014 but, even in the ealry 90s, traffic was bad.

Dexter matthews police car tells all
So many late 80s/early 90s accords
We've gotten so far in Video Technology, now we are able to go back into the past and Heighten the Quality of videos from the past, what will the future think of next?
It was recorded and preserved on film, so the quality didn’t degrade overtime
I lot of Honda Accords in this film 😊👍
So beautiful
oh hey look less traffic
There's a big difference between advancing and repair.

Who in their right mind would miss the 80s and 90s. It is simular to now. Only cell phones were outragouly expensive yet people still had them.

I swear everything still looks the same except the cars lol!
But compared to now the only difference is downtown development

I'm watching all 90s LA filmography to find her.

I’m gonna guess the year is 1994?
What specifically year was this
1990-1994
Most of these cars have been scrapped by now
Regular gas was 1.37 a gallon; man what happened?
