- From the Rare Armed and Dangerous CD...
I'm running
I'm trying to break away
It's getting heavy
There's no way I can stay
I'm going under
It's burning up my mind
Release the feeling
I'm running out of time
Raise hell, raise hell, raise hell
I'm on fire (raise hell, raise hell, raise hell)
Can't hold back desire
Only desire
I'm on the outside
Always looking in
You know the heats on
Ready to begin
And when I'm inside
You stare into my eyes
When it's over
You see through my disguise
Raise hell, raise hell, raise hell
I'm on fire (raise hell, raise hell, raise hell)
Can't hold back desire
Only desire
Raise hell, raise hell, raise hell, raise hell
Raise hell, raise hell, raise hell
Can't hold back desire
Only desire
Raise hell
One of my favorite Anthrax tunes!!!
this song and armed and dangerous bring back so many memories........
22 years later and this is still one of my fave tracks, and I don't even listen to Metal anymore.
I used to put on dual tapes, cued up in sync (almost) on the house stereo and boombox and blast it at 10 til my folks came home. God, I miss it.
This is Nice and heavy!
joey belladonna is second to none. best vocalist anthrax ever had one of the best voices in metal full stop. i wish more metal vocalists could sing and project their voices like this guy.
Mike wiped the sweat from his face as pure fear kept the accelerator to the floor. The darkness that had been trapped in the book was just behind him, waiting to take him every step of the way. El's Uncle Ash had been wise to try to keep it hidden, though Bowers and his band of merry assholes had unleashed hell when they read from it. The only thing to do was run fast, run far, and pray to God they could find and send it back .
In fact, this one was released on Music For Nations in 1991 and the Megaforce/Caroline is the first press for CD in 1985.
Can't Hold Back DESIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRE!!!!!!!
this is absolutely brilliant!!
You wrote: "I had no idea this CD was rare". I replied: "Not quite, Music For Nations version is very easy to find". It was hard to see you were referring to the vinyl.
omgosh i like how they look so serious on the album cover and in reality they are really quite silly
Not quite, Music For Nations version is very easy to find. I see it very often when I visit a record store with both second hand and new cd's/LP's here in Sweden. If we are going to talk about rare Music For Nations cd that would be Manowar - Hail to England as they only release it in small quantities back in 1987 when CD hadn't really hit the market yet.
fuck yea i would too!!!
THIS SONG IS FUCKING GOOD!!!
this is my fav song from this album
@arikanidjar yeah because Belladonna got fired. But thank god hes back and making a new album with anthrax like good times! They still need Dan Spitz back though
ahh the good old days I miss 'em anthrax failed after persistance of time sux to see happen but so many bands have done the same thing
fade to the black is emotional and this is spiritual
Thank you by share!
all time classic! 5/5

RAISE HELL! RAISE HELL! RAISE HELL!

Awesome solo by Scott Ian here, by the way

@DieSchwartzmann your right about the madhouse similarities. its still a great tune though.
What the hell kinda comparison is that????
good old stuff!
BELLADONNA RULES!!!!!!
This sounds like it was originally written for Neil Turbin.
It was.
@wealldie12 or a Neil Turbin fan!
belladonnas vocals on this song and indians r fucking mindblowingl, jon was ok BELLADONNA FOREVER
Kyle Conner time to take ashit !
2018
fuck only 89 views? this song rules!! \,,/
@StrutterVinyl but Neil Turbin was good as fuck too. So chances are if they like Belladonna they'd like Turbin.
Did you think I was stupid Ramsey? Don't ever put your fork in my plate. I don't like that shit!
Is this a cover?
no, there is just to many songs whit the same or a similar name
4o\m/
@metal1313
I think Belladonna is easily as good as Rob Halford. I don't know why people make a big deal over Bruce Dickinson- he's not that great.
Anyone noticed this has similar chord progression to Madhouse? It could be that they actually rewrote it for the album.
@JobForNicoletta then shave your head
i prefer slayer
Boio
I was referring to the vinyl (see 2nd paragraph of my previous comment). I guess it depends where one is situated in the world. As an avid vinyl collector & seller myself (over 40 years), I have a pretty good idea what's collectible/rare, and what's not, spanning all genres. And by the way, that Manowar is far more common here than the Anthrax...though still not something I'd see every day in the vinyl shops.
I had no idea this CD was rare. It came as a combo 2-disc set with a German import 'Fistful Of Metal' album that I bought during the 90's sometime. It's on the Steamhammer/SPV label, which I don't even see listed at any of the websites.
I actually own this EP twice on vinyl too, so I'm guessing that's even rarer...Megaforce and Music For Nations, Lol.
