Will a Godox trigger for - say, a Panasonic on a G9 fire a Godox flash TT350S (a Sony version)? I just wondered whether the actual trigger is agnostic in terms of other Godox flash units.
These companies need to start including these instruction videos by default. I was reading through the manual for my Godox x2ts and TT350 and didn't understand a thing. Watched your video in a few min and voila. Thank you

Coming from using sync cords, big strobes, and a meter in the studio, I found switching to the wireless trigger and speedlights for outdoors a little confusing at first. After watching this quick video it all became easy peazy very quickly! Great post mate - cheers!

Good gear has become affordable and digital plus web tutorials have allowed a lot more people to join the ranks of "pro" shooters, bypassing the traditional route of Art School and then a tenure as an assistant. As a result wages and good-paying gigs have decreased dramatically compared to film days. I am a bit conflicted over the whole issue. Anyway, such is life eh - time keeps marching on and you have to keep up or get left behind. - Cheers mate!

it turns on/off the auto focus assist. When on the trigger will emit an infrared beam to help focus and it will turn off the camera AF red light... I think.. I dont use it but I did read that its useless for mirrorless cameras...
My flash randomly stopped working with the trigger. So I have done this at least 20 times and it doesn’t work - when I connect the trigger to the camera and the flash to the trigger it works. Something wireless is not working.
@@DrawingLightPhotography did scan for frequency come back with a few different channels. Maybe try each one it said was best to use? Worth a try. Could be interference
Hey, so for a two flash set up, can I say put one flash on Channel A and another on B and have different intensities on both, but both fire at the same time?
I have connected my Fuji X-T2, but somehow it is not firing 100% of the time. It's like it's only firing 70% of the photoshoot time, and sometimes it doesn't fire at all. I am somewhat frustrated. Have I missed something?
Thanks Roberto, I've been thinking about getting the flash trigger to go with my TT350 O. It seems simple enough. I've been using a cheap remote slave flash with the Godox and firing it from the pop-up flash but your way looks more reliable and versatile. Mind you, my slave flash unit was only £10 and does the job.
Its way overkill for me just mucking around. I too just used onboard flash to trigger. Its handy but really only if your a pro with heapsnof lights erc
Hello. Do you now if you put a flash on the top hot shoe of this X2T it will take the “group A” settings of the X2T even it is not set to slave mode or it runs separately as a single unit? Second question is if a flash runing on the top hot shoe of this X2T fire if the X2T is turned off? Thank you!
1st Q... yes it worked as a single unit with a tt350 flash but i put a different little flash (fl-lm3) and that didnt fire 2nd Q... No nothing worked when xt2 was turned off

Hi you need to check that you got the sony versions. They would be the X2T-S and the TT350-S. The letter determines the compatibility. C=Canon S==Sony O=Olympus N=NIkon F=Fuji P=Pentax

Hi. I dont own one so not 100% sure but it says it can control any flash with Built-in Godox 2.4G Wireless X System and the sony tt350 has that as to all the tt350 flashes.. sorry cant be 100% sure but it looks like it can
Press MENU button Turn the wheel to go to STEP and press SET Turn the wheel to set it to 1/256 This will set it to the min and you should be able to now go from 1/1 to 1/256

Does the top hot shoe mount work with an Olympus flash while still transmitting tear off camera godox? One other review mentioned that XT1 still have a generic hot shit on top. Just need verify it will take Olympus flash.
Hi. With the same setup i have in this video i put the olympus fl-lm3 flash on the top hotshoe and it didnt work. But maybe i have to set something up. I really dont know. There is nothing in the manual about the hotshoe operation. Too many variables and i dont have other flashes to test. Sorry i cant be more help.
I followed the instructions using the X2Ts and the Godox V350s but I don't get a TTL mode. It only has multi and manual no matter how many time I press the mode button. The flash directly on the camera works fine in ttl but when paired with the X2T, there is no TTL mode. Any idea what is happening? I am tearing my hair out but the manual doesn't help at all!
After much messing around and looking through forums and even youtube comments on a dozen videos of the X2T, I finally figured out that I didn't hit the GROUP A button first on top of the X2T in order to select the group that the flash was paired to and then I can enter TTL mode. Before I wasn't in a select group so only manual and multi mode work. If a group is selected, then TTL becomes the 3rd option available. If anyone else has this issue and is confused, I hope you find this comment! :)

Sorry to hear. Test flash os working on camera fisrt. Then put in ttl on trigger and flash.. frustrating i know. I guess try factory reset on flash trogger and camera and start again.. see how it goes

Hard to pinpoint. Pick another channel when scanning... Fully charge transmitter.. reboot.. all I can think of.. 😊

Hi you need to check that you got the sony versions. They would be the X2T-S and the TT350-S. The letter determines the compatibility.

My tt350 is set to 24mm zoom. It wont change to au mm zoom 😪
I read that the white card panel catch light panel thing can cause this. See if it's pushed in all the way
How did you get the camera symbol to show up on the trigger?
After i turned the camera on that camera symbol showed up.

Is your trigger an x2t-c ... the c is for canon. They are camera dependent

What if my camera symbol doesnt pop up
See is the x2t is on the hotshoe all the way and locked in. Try putting flash on hotshoe to see if its working ok
What's the battery life of this Trigger and what is your battery capacity?
Not sure really. I don't shoot all day but I read about 3000 photos. The trigger takes AA batteries

Why can I set 1/256 without trigger, but only 1/128 with?
Press MENU button
Turn the wheel to go to STEP and press SET
Turn the wheel to set it to 1/256
This will set it to the min and you should be able to now go from 1/1 to 1/256

Hi. With the same setup i have in this video i put the olympus fl-lm3 flash on the top hotshoe and it didnt work. But maybe i have to set something up. I really dont know. There is nothing in the manual about the hotshoe operation. Too many variables and i dont have other flashes to test. Sorry i cant be more help.

You can probably skip that. Its only to get best signal but they all work ok. Just choose any same channel for both units

I followed the instructions using the X2Ts and the Godox V350s but I don't get a TTL mode. It only has multi and manual no matter how many time I press the mode button. The flash directly on the camera works fine in ttl but when paired with the X2T, there is no TTL mode. Any idea what is happening? I am tearing my hair out but the manual doesn't help at all!
After much messing around and looking through forums and even youtube comments on a dozen videos of the X2T, I finally figured out that I didn't hit the GROUP A button first on top of the X2T in order to select the group that the flash was paired to and then I can enter TTL mode. Before I wasn't in a select group so only manual and multi mode work. If a group is selected, then TTL becomes the 3rd option available. If anyone else has this issue and is confused, I hope you find this comment! :)

For some reason my flash doesn't go off. I followed the exact steps...
Sorry to hear. Test flash os working on camera fisrt. Then put in ttl on trigger and flash.. frustrating i know. I guess try factory reset on flash trogger and camera and start again.. see how it goes

You can also use the onboard flash of the camera to trigger the flash if you dont have x2t..
