Hey guys so my channel got deleted and I've had to reupload all my videos - this one was originally from last September when I moved into my uni halls at Sheffield Hallam
Personally I’ve not seen the elements as it’s quite new, but the forge is great socially as it’s so big so most people tend to be staying there haha, although it has had a few issues with crime over the past couple of years
@@beckykatie3762 Hi, I'm looking to go to Sheffield Hallam next September and just wondering what issues you've had with crime and was that in the area of your halls? Thank you
Most people tend to get different accommodation for each year, but a lot of them let you renew the lease for the following year if you want to stay at the same place, and sometimes let you keep the same room if you give them enough notice, hope that answers your question
Becky Duckmanton what about students who don't have a place to go back home to when uni is done....like estranged students? Can they stay at the accomodation for longer, obviously in hope they did well to move on to the next year?
Hi Monique, yes I’m fairly sure that most of the accomodation choices have this option, at unite students I think you could stay in the accomodation until around late July and then just move into another room (or possibly keep the same room I’m not sure) immediately just before the new term starts. There’s a fair amount of foreign students who do this so I’m pretty sure a majority of the accomodation places should give you this option 😊 hope this helps x
Wreckthetangle there’s a shower cubicle in the bathroom to the left of the toilet but didn’t show since it’s literally just a shower head and a white curtain haha
I’m coming to Sheffield Hallam (fingers crossed) in 2022 so this has given me a great insight
i hope we get in together
Very Helpful, looking for Sheffield Student accommodation that doesn't use ALL of my maintenance loan
Bramall or Charlotte Court? Further out but cheaper
Hi! Great video. I need some help, I'm thinking about the forge or the elements, can you tell me if they are okay ? Eg socially etc thankyou

Can students usually get 3 years of accommodation in SHU?

How is SHU btw?
SHU is lovely thanks for asking! I start my final year in September and it’ll be sad to leave x
Wait so where do you shower!

Becky Duckmanton ah right that’s good then I would not like a communal shower aha
Wreckthetangle haha me neither! From what I saw, the majority of accommodation in Sheffield is individual bathrooms, didn’t see many with communal
Becky Duckmanton that’s good! I’m only in year 12 but thinking off applying here next year :)
@@mrkrabs805 nice dude what are you planning to study? They have offered me a place but I havnt yet decided.
Which Uni hall is this?
