Stayed at Taylor Court back in 1998 through to 2000. The campus has considerably expanded

I just had a tour today for my brother looking at unis, I'm still 3 years behind all that, but looked brilliant to be honest
Hull is a pretty good university. Lots of employment opportunities these days. Hull and the surrounding urban area homes several big companies such As Croda, Reckitt, ABP, Siemens, British Aerospace, etc. THX

@@Asiwaq119 I have the same concern in my mind. The tuition fee is not that much in comparison to other universities in the UK. So, I was thinking if I get the acceptance letter from the university, I’ll take their accommodation as well. I wouldn’t have to worry about part time that much then.

great video tbf! i also have a room booked in the courtyard block A, have been talking to people in GCs and havent really found anyone else in block A lol, so was wondering how quickly u can get from block to block in the courtyard?

Thank you so much! And it really does depend on the course, for example medical courses are going in for in person practicals etc but online learning is definitely still a big thing!

I am interested in applying to this Uni. How would you describe the city? I don't want a party town, but I also don't want it to be dead haha
I've lived in Hull pretty much my whole life and I can confirm it's a good balance between parties and being dead.

There isn’t any specific couples accommodation at the uni, you do get small double beds in uni accommodation however security can be quite strict sometimes. If you are just wanting to live together separately I would go into private accommodation through a company - some I suggest are hulluniquarter and kexgil :)

Hi! Thank you so much :) so yes the kitchen and lounge space are unisex however in the courtyard you have an en-suite room so you do have your own space x

You’re more than welcome. Not far at all! From outside of the uni there are bus stops and it’s probably 15 minutes direct to town to the interchange. Then from the uni there is a lidl down the road and it’s about a 10 minute walk away. There’s also a Sainsbury’s there too :) x

You’re so welcome! Honestly any block is good! I like D, C and A block but honestly they are all the same other than G block which have the bigger rooms at more of a cost :) x

Anytime! And I was originally in D block! It’s great! X I do suggest not getting a room on ground floor though just simply as people can touch your windows/bang on them etc! And it just feels nicer being higher up! I was on floor 3 x

Awh, that made me smile! :) unfortunately I wasn’t in a signals detachment though! I was in the Rifles. Some of the certificates are from doing some signals courses though. It was great fun!😁
