I’m planning on firming for this year so thank you for this !! 🥰
No problem, thanks for watching the video! :)
Studied there a few years back, thanks for the memories
no one cares
Very clear description! Good job!
Thank you very much, glad you liked it :)
Old Alumni here, everything behind the Applied Sciences up to the sports centre used to be one gigantic field 30 years ago. Student accomodation was mostly off Cranbrook Av at one time. It takes about 45m to walk into Hull City centre via Newlands Ave from Cottingham Rd. Loved my time there, so hope you will too.
Can I be your friend please, I'm putting in for my masters degree by September
Damn never realised how big the campus was, had my secondary school prom there but never remembered it being this massive. Great video
Glad you liked the vid, its a decent campus isn't it
Lovely explanation brother!
We have a College trip to this place for our Law, and I think we’ll be exploring your Law Campus if I’m not mistaken
Excited and thank you for this upload🙏
Glad it helped and hope you enjoy the visit
Hello. Please what major cities are close to hull . And are there part time jobs available or one has to get in neighboring cities
It's really just York, it's about a half an hour train away. Part time jobs are available almost everywhere for students
How to make such kind of 360 degree video??
Is everyone allowed to use the sports center?
masterpiece :)
Hey is it true that there are very less part time job opportunities near the Uni /a little far away from?
Not true, lots of jobs available
Hi, I want to study biomedical science here. What building will I be in?
Hello, just wanna ask because so curious. In University of Hull ,is there intrance exam for incoming first year before become a student there? Or just pay for enrollment?I'm from another country and planning to enter there hope I get a response from you.Thank you☺☺😃
Hi there. No problem, there's no entrance exam you just get the grades and enroll. Hope you enjoyed the video and decide to stick around because I've got a lot of uni content planned for 2021
@@DaneMellows thank you,I would really love to,cant wait to watch😉☺☺
@@pialibarios4239 thank you I'm glad 🙌
Hi dane , your video in amazing . Can I please tell us how to make video like you have made ?
Thank you I appreciate that! I might do a how to edit video if enough people want it
Big love Dane
My guy, appreciate it 🙌
Please between msc psychology and msc logistics and supply chain management..Which one is the best for job sponsored in the uk
I'm not sure as I do History but if you have a look at the employment rate after graduation you should be able to compare the two
@@DaneMellows alright thank you.. I'm applying for the two courses at the university of hull
@@olubiyomayowa3450 best of luck my friend
Love it
Thank you 🙌
Just got a offer for sports science do you know if it’s good
I asked my friend who studies it and he said
"I absolutely love it. The people on the course are amazing and fun and supportive, there’s always great banter and people cheering you on with each other’s respective sports and training. The majority of the staff are more than helpful and supportive too and the content is interesting to me"
Hope that helps and you enjoyed the vid mate
Is Hull a good place for studying along with working part-time ?
Are there opportunities for part time jobs ?
Yeah its really good to be honest, best place to work I'd say is for the Uni itself. You could work in the bar or the club, that tends to be a popular one. Or there are lots of places around Hull that would offer some work for you
@@DaneMellows ...which work are available for a student or his or her dependant to do in hull?
Great
I am planing to pursue my study there
Inshallah
One day i will be there😳
🙌🙌🙌
Is this university good for Indian students?
Is it possible for students to pay their fee from their part time jobs ?
It doesn't matter where the money is coming from but to pay it all from a part time job it would have to be a very well paid job
@@DaneMellows But is it easy to get a job in Hull as an international student?
What’s environmental science like there ?
I intend to pursue my master there , provided there is part - time job to support myself
is there a swimming pool on campus?
No swimming pool on campus :(
Am gonna be going here this year, I'm excited but I'm shitting myself at the same time. I hear theres a lot of independent work but there are lessons like normal lessons you have in school and college right? I'm overthinking this and it's making me anxious xD
Don't worry! You will have an amazing time! Yes its a lot of independent work but nothing you won't be able to handle if you set out enough time to do it in. I think the lessons that are similar to school you're on about are seminars which are (for history atleast) just students discussing the reading so you can get more ideas from other people before writing tour essays. I'm planning on making a fair few uni videos this year so if you have any topics you'd like me to make a video on then let me know 👍
@@DaneMellows Thank you very much, if possible, could you show some things regarding film studies and how that all goes?
@@Roadkill-Films i definitely don't know enough to make a whole video on film studies because I don't do that course but if you message someone on their Instagram page I'm sure they'll be happy to answer any questions
@@Roadkill-Films if you do get to go can you let me know what film studies is like? I’m taking a gap year once I’m done w a levels and am gonna do film with creative writing so I’ll probably be in the year below you when I start
@@xavigoeswild6827 Yeah sure! If I recall, I'll comment back here. (Am maybe thinking of doing an extra year of sixth form just in case.)
Still awaiting my admission for September this year's entrance , can I talk to you about it?
Of course, ask any questions you have
Thanks @@DaneMellows , For a Masters in Criminology as an international student, do i stand a chance of getting a funding opportunity at all?
Hello have you been offered admission
@@bolajiolaniran8510 that depends on a bunch of other factors but definitely apply anyway as you never know
@@Milola_mi Admission came last week. It was to late, no room for Visa processing time
Nice
Appreciate that 💪
Dane I need to ask questions from u. Plz help. For international Muslims students, people in uk are saying thats the hull is not the safe place because its a small city, no students jobs and crime ratio is high. Please tell me something on this and it helps alot of students all over world specially which are coming from Asia. Its a urgent request if you response asap by any small video.
Thanks
Hull is a safe place, especially for students are there are gated communities. There are plenty of student jobs, especially for those with transferable skills. Hope this makes your decision easier, let me know if there is anything else I can help you with
@@DaneMellows thanks for response. Appreciated.
Yes what about for girls, what part time job they can do there and how much they can earn in hour or in a week. Also after MS complete, international students can easily get the job or they need to move into another city ??
@@DaneMellows in your opinion how much Muslims students are there, because people said that in Hull there is no muslims community means no Muslims international students just because of its away from london and Manchester and its a very small city like a old village.
According to my search, I dont see any thing like this. But for clarification I need to ask someone who is living in hull and thats you which I find.
Same for everyone in terms of jobs, the pay depends on your hours and where you're working. After the MS is finished it's up to you to get a job and if you want to stay in Hull you can do
I'm not Muslim myself so can't speak about the experience in Hull as a Muslim, however I do know several people who study at Hull who are Muslim international students so I'm not sure why someone has said there are none. The Uni is very accommodating to everyone so I'm sure you would be fine
Anyone here going to do biomedical science?
my mum works there!
no one cares
I’m signing up wanna be my friend!
always looking for mates aherb

we've just 'came' from down this way?????? what the hell!... Can't just speak correct English?
‘Can’t just speak correct English’ isn’t grammatically correct either.
@@oek6044 yes it is!
as a generalised phrase - and not as the sentence you expect to see as a pedant. ARE YOU QUALIFIED TO CORRECT ME???
@@oek6044 yes it is. So, you are a Professor of English then???
