    Good information. Food for thought to make your milling life easier; the Woodland Mills log rests/ back stops are very poorly thought out. As you know, they can bite into, and stop, a log you're trying to rotate. Others have mounted ball bearings to the top to reduce the biting. Others have gone an even cheaper route by slipping a length of PVC pipe over the stops when it's time to rotate.
    Gotta give you credit for milling in the dark.

    Thanks for the tips. Seems like most of my milling is in the dark. I'm working during the daylight. Cut when ya got the time.
