AC Unity, game of many traits, one of the best and one of the worst in the series, still looking good, great story and gameplay mechanics, but full of bugs (even game breaking ones) and bad optimization. This could had easily been the perfect AC game, if only Ubisoft didnt rush it, and took some time to properly develop it.

The simple addition of a render resolution slider would‘ve already helped a lot. If you go for let‘s say 140% scaling at 4K that cleans up those edges significantly and with the 4090 we really do have the performance overhead to do so. Maybe that could work with a custom resolution or by forcing downsampling in the Nvidia control panel. I don‘t have any experience with that yet though because my 3090 didn‘t give me enough headroom at 4K120 in most games. Will look into it after my next upgrade.
Hey buck, I just downloaded the game, we have the exact gpu and cpu configuration, but I seem to be getting unloaded textures. Have you encountered that, and what have you done to fix it?
These games are weak for 4090 brah. But if you’re hell bent on making a video on every AC game out there, don’t leave out AC 3 remastered. It ought to stress it just a bit more than this.

10 years later unity and syndicate still looks incredible....4k doesn't have more AA.....2xMsaa or 4xMsaa...
Damn it runs so well even with MSAA 2x at 4k. AMD yesterday shaked up things, but still i think 4090 is untouchable but for the price its debatable

I knew the card was powerful enough to break the game's LoD system.
You should of cranked MSAA up to 8x.
It really does make a huge difference in quality, and it would of been interesting to see the performance.

I was getting unloaded textures too, it takes a while but they eventually do load. It's worse in some areas than others

Maybe Emulating Yuzu/Ryujinx will increase your subs, those emu is GPU bounded.
