Also can you please give an update on how you are keeping the redness away? Your skin looks amazing!
Basically simple skincare, not over doing the actives. And red light therapy!
Talk about being extra... I use three primers (stategically placed) and mix two foundations for my perfect complexion base. I also use the Catrice Setting spray right after these steps. I also use my foundation as concealer, as at 59, I just did not like how any concealers were looking. It took some work to find the perfect mix of products, but I'm finally there! Until my skin changes again....😳

That wasn’t so many over-the-top crazy number of steps! Very doable even for me whose foundation is usually one and done most days. You reminded me of Carol Burnet at the end! Yes that is the highest compliment ever 🤣

Wayne Goss has a technique for applying foundation to make it long wearing which I use. Moisturizer, primer with a sheen,
powder and then foundation. Also by applying powder before foundation you use less foundation.

Your skin looks nice without foundation. I’ve been using the Black Girl sunscreen for kids, and I like it a lot. I get so much shine from my sunscreens, I figure I don’t need to add anything else! But my skin is a bit oily. I’ve been using the L’Oréal Pro Matte, but still have some shine I need to buy a makeup sponge. Enjoyed hearing your tips!

I have tried every combination of primer and foundation and no primer etc but nothing stays in middle of my face. It’s not even like it rubs off. It’s like my skin ate it. I’ve done the powder first, several setting sprays. I don’t know why but nothing will stay on. It’s like within about 4 hours. Even Double Wear doesn’t stay on.

I put on foundation the same way you do, i cant be crazy with squirting it every where lol thanks to discoloration melasma.
That concealer looks really nice. I’ve been using one from Koki that gives a similar finish.
