During the 60’s there was a Scout/cub hall next door to this cemetery. As Cubs was at night, it was always scary creeping around exploring the graves as there was no fence to speak of back then. A new Scout hall was built at its current location at Wilinda Park in the early 70’s but by then I had abandoned the scouting movement.

    Hi there,
If you would like more information on the history of Greensborough I recommend you speak to Faye Fort. She is a wealth of knowledge of the area. She is the Granddaughter of the Partington family.
She can give you the history of just about everything of Greensborough and surrounding areas.
I was fascinated with this cemetery too. My mum would drive past it everyday when driving us to school. It's in such a lovely quiet spot. Except for when a train goes by.

If you think the grave yard is creepy: I use to be the milkman for this area and I used to jog around the cemetery at 2 am in the dark, in all sorts of weather to drop off peoples' milk bottles. Pitch dark on a freezing, foggy night... I tell you... That was creepy!

300 people are buried there? Huh, that’s kinda strange, since that graveyard looks kinda small.

The built on top of the grave yard. I’ve got an updated video for this coming out next week

I’ve wandered through there a few times, it never felt creepy or scary to me, not well looked after at all which is sadly obvious. To me It looks like a corner house block they put a cemetery on. I used to drive past every day after picking my kids up from school using the back roads.

Toy-Addict it's just the size of a house block. Used to drive past every day, . There's another small one in Hawdon St Heidelberg. Have you seen that one. I was reading about the old Greensborough swimming pool a few weeks ago, very interesting,
