This is the video that taught me to wheelie my 2024 z900 I can’t wait to start posting some videos of my wheelie progress your the man dude literally taught me to wheelie on a fucking RUclips video 😊
I've been doing wheelies on my z900 for a few months and found that holding 40-50% throttle position while accelerating in 2nd til 5500rpm and tapping the clutch will throw you up perfectly. It is a strong throw back so have your foot on the brake, but other than that it is almost perfectly at balance point. good luck!
@@mrpoopypants3619yes, just wouldn’t recommend power wheelies. Better chance of whooping it. I learned originally doing power wheelies and once I got clutch ups I never went back
Every motorcycle has a different weight bias, suspension setup, final drive leverage ratios, etc. They will all behave differently when the front wheel lifts. Many of them will require a lot of force to get the lift started, and progressively much less force after it's inches into the air. It's progressive. Take it easy, take it slow, learn progressively.
Wtf. Its hard to. Syncro clutch and throttle. Iwill work this. To finish, I play guitar, drum. I skied. Rc, aquarium. On every tutorials i watched. You did a really great job
@@pottertool It sure does look fun but the whole unicycle thing seems dangerous. My gixxer wheelies by self if I twist too hard but I always get it back on the ground as quick as possible to live. Cheers brother.
@@pottertool I don’t think they even had power modes or an A/B mode before they updated to the new LCD screen I could be wrong about that, but they def. Didn’t have a user defined mode. Wish they did.
I went up 3 teeth in the rear sprocket. Complete animal don't even need clutch in second gear. I'll just stand staggered and ride. If you really want the best experience unhook the front abs sensor zip tie it up. Abs will be fully unlocked.
So if i do it with my 2018 Model bought in 2020 without all that electronic nonsons i can do it in 1st. gear without clutch, 2nd. gear without clutch and even in 3th. gear when my gas-tank is below 1/2 ful... sometimes if i switch from 3th. to 4th. and have my wife with me, she want go up easyly... Mod is only the breadbox-delete and an SC-Project slip on... all other is stock... Im lucky with my bike or its normal for the older version, i dont know.
Dont use the clutch at all once your get your wheel off the ground. Use the throttle to keep it up. If you feel like its too high, let off. If you feel like it needs to go higher give it more
@@pottertoolOops! Sorry I meant to type "throttle", not "clutch". Thanks for the response. So typically when you clutch up, you're on the throttle a ton, then back off it a bit when it gets too high? How much do you back off? When I clutch up I get to a height that scares me, then I let off a bit but the bike just crashes back down.
Thats exactly my case to! It goes up fast, nicely and high - and than i dont know what to do. I think if i stay on throttle (not not more, not less) - i will go to high or even flip - since that much of the trottle brought me up pretty quick. But if i let off throttle it just instantly slams on the ground.

Video games and motorcycles,.... Right up my alley brother! Liked and subbed. Picking up my Z900 SE on Tuesday. The hype is real. 💯
You will love it
Awesome tips! The roll on FIRST is something I haven’t heard before
Great video man, I have one question, do you advice to start with the KTRC disabled or is it better to have it ON for wheelie beginners?
Keep it off. It will just kill the engine as your wheel starts coming up. Its doable but it just makes things harder
Got the same color bike Feb 2020 absolutely love the paint.

Could you do a power wheelie turtorial on Z900🙏
And i was wondering why it was barely getting up in sport mode
I ride a Z900 and a GSXR 1000 and just wondering if you can remind me why do you need to wheelie?

The z900 is available as an a2 version with 35kw / 48ps in European countries. Do you think it is possible to do wheelies with 48ps?
Yes
With 48 hp how do you do that?
Perfect! I got a 16 in the front too!
Thank you that was good lesson
At 5:15, how do you keep it up once the wheel gets to peak? I assume you let off the clutch very briefly then get back on it right away?

I have the same exact bike with you here… but I never thought it has riding and sports mode
Does it?
Do you have to yank the bike up as you roll on the throttle or just sit normally?
Sit normal
How do i turn TC off in rider mode ? I thought sports mode disabled it ?
