I saw this man about 50 times I'm now 70 and he still keeps rocking me I would like to say more but I listen to this am I'm speechless let the music talk
Man I would have loved to see them live, only discovered Rory a few years ago and now think he was the best ever. Do you know what the second track is on here please? It's a rocker!
I love this performance......Rory gives 110% even though he's clearly exhausted and his singing voice is a little tired.....maybe a little hungover, perhaps....BUT HE ALWAYS GAVE HIS BEST!!! Souped up Ford is def my fave on this!!!
FKN RORY RULES. I saw him twice in OZSTRALYA. I kept the ticket butts. My big brother took me when l was 8 years old. He IS THE GREATEST. ALWAYS LOVED THIS LEGEND! GREATEST EVER! Now l’m a professional muso; HE IS THE GREATEST! OATH!🎸💥👊🏾☄️
I first saw him live with Taste, circa 1969, at the Isle of Wight. I'm 72 now, and am still astounded by the esteem he's deservedly held in by so many of my contemporaries, many of whom were born after he passed. I shouldn't be though, I guess! A true great, taken way too soon. Thanks for so many magical memories. R.I.P 🎉
12/19/2024: Good Day. I'll be 73 next year. YES! He's Remarkable. His honest energy on stage. reminds me of the good ol days of Blues Rock. I did see Hendrix twice and he spoke very highly of Rory. Peace & Merry Christmas to you.
Thank You very much for this awesome upload. I saw this show live on tv back then. I had never heard of this guy before this moment and i was instantly electrified. The next day i bought live in ireland… what an amazing and underrated musician.
I have been to concerts in the 70s of the GOAT bands. And today, I always come back to Rory's music. I never got to see him perform live, but thanks to his millions of fans and RUclips, I have found my way to him in these performances. I can say that I have experienced his soul come through his music, which sets him apart as truly an original and is the GOAT. RIP Rory.
The band were Outstanding Rory was unbelievable gave it everything every night that was Rock n Blues at it's FINEST no arguments He CARED about his music and his fans God Bless you Rory 🎸👍🎸🎸🎸🎸
The Rolling Stones needed a guitarist, so they asked Rory to join the band. I don't know the full story, but I think Rory wanted to be independent, like do his own thing. So he said no. Thank you to the loyal supporters from the U.K and Europe. Brillant band live.
Got to see him in little bars in Cleveland a few times. Bloody excellent. 👍actually the first time i saw him was opening up for Rush. The Signals tour. Blew my mind because that exact week I’d just picked up my first Rory album. Against the Grain. I had no clue that he’d be opening up later that week with Rush. My mind was blown. Honestly I’d rather have seen him all night then than seen Rush. No disrespect towards Rush. Good music is good music. ☘️🇮🇪☘️
Omg the amazing qualities of this awesome tv program....other continents simply adored and loved musicians....USA couldn't of cared less about doing this...
Souped up Ford .the bass from Gerry McAvoy is the maker for me even though I love Rory and a guitar player myself ..as Quo said Gerry’s the Engine room along with Rod De’Ath or Ted McKenna keeping the Good Ship Rock n Roll on an Even keel ❤❤❤❤
