I work in IT and one of our staff members are having the issue of black smeared across their pages when copying paper. Does this kit come with that print transfer roller that you took out in the beginning of the video? and do you have a link.
The back of my M476dw does not look fully like this. I have an extra something in the upper left hand corner that is across the fuser bracket. Otherwise it looks just like this. How do I get this extra piece off? I have not found one video online that looks like this and I cannot seem to remove enough screws for it to move on my own.
Sounds like you’re describing the Reverse Drive Assembly. Visit our website, you can view/download the repair manual that has the procedure to remove this part. www.metrofuser.com/service-manuals
No need to download the repair manual to remove the Reverse Drive Assembly. It is just held in place by three screws. One on top (just left of the assembly), one in the exact middle of the assembly and one on the bottom of the assembly. Once those three screws are removed, the assembly can be gently lowered out of the way (no need to unplug the wires). Once that assembly is out of the way, you can easily remove the fuser.
@@chrisratchford8153 how do you get the back panel off. I've taken the 3 screws out across the top by the fuser but that panel does not want to come off
@@BoneclubofWIvideo I don't have the printer in front of me but I don't remember having problems removing the L-shaped black back plastic cover. Once you remove the three screws, the L-shaped black cover should come off with a little wiggling. It's a little harder to wiggle BACK in place after replacing the fuser but it's not too bad. This L-shaped cover on the duplexing units aren't exactly like the back cover in this video but I think the three screws at the top are similar. Hope this helps.
I though I have Fuser problem. Installed new fuser, but still same problem. I hear 1 click sound at rear of printer and nothing appears on screen beside like triangle yellow and green light flashing every second. Any solution?
im an IT staff in my organization, i have a serious problem im unable to solve, laserjet m551 and pro 300, their printout page is having a blank streak or blank line from middle to the down which i found difficult to identify the cause of the problem, can someone help me out or i should scan the sample to anyone that can help.
I have this very printer, got it for free from a client that closed down. Replaced the tray 1&2 rollers, but still getting paper jam in tray 2 after just 1 page of printing...Before I office space this printer, any suggestions on why it is doing that? HP forums are useless, figured you guys would know what I can try to get this printer just printing like it used to.
after I installed the new fusser I started getting a false paper jam, it prints the first copy and gives an error as there where a paper jam
This is a great video, thanks. Where can we buy the transfer roller from? I don't need all of those other parts.
I don't see how you removed the power plug.

All those steps from part 1 video are neccessary for removing the fuser unit ?

Replace tray 2 rollers RM1-4426 & RM1-4840 with genuine OEM parts. Compatible rollers on this model have been problematic.
Hi no need to reset the maintenance kit???
Not on this model
Thanks
Welcome
Thank you
You made it like piece of cake
Most welcome 😊
Not the same design as grey hp m476dn
Same here. There’s an additional gear box that appears to be on the back of the fuser
