Doug really showed off the power of Dragonmaids! Such a dominant win despite him not even reading his screen! He tried to lose multiple times but couldn't 😢
To be fair, Farfa was playing Gimmick Puppets. I'm convinced winning with that deck is not a thing that has ever happened in The History of Yu-Gi-Oh! and it should have been an instant re-spin with none of that "Imma ask chat" BS. Ah well, someone had to take one of the team while it was on the wheel.
@@Honest_Mids_Masher untrue, blue eyes and dark magician are both old decks, therefor the "kids" that used to play them are now old in canon, so they actually sound like old men telling war stories.
@@Mattadork I disagree. The nostalgia turns their old man voices back into that of their twelve year old selves. Either that or they try to sound like Yugi and Kaiba it's either one tbh

Never took dragonmaid for a deck difficult to pilot, but the fact Doug's deck had some consistency with so few cards proves that it's a pretty decent rogue deck.
It was my main deck when I got back into yugioh a few years ago. There is a lot of combos to go into for a lot of situations, Even being limited like this. Can't really run pure dragon maid anymore like I use to but can be thrown into quite a few different dragon decks. I'd like to see some more Support cards in the future But I doubt it anytime soon.
I've used it as a decent advantage engine in N only format, Basically Every girl is a repeatable monster reborn for a big ass dragon which isn't the worst thing you could do in N format.
In seal environment where no ash and maxx c, dragon maid actually quite strong deck to use. it will just pop with house, negate with seou, and summon a lot of big attack dragon to make u have easy otk. Sad this deck bad in competitive just because it lose by single ash.
You can see how favorable the matchup is when the other player can simply win by using less then half of their deck and actually throwing away cards from their hand for no reason.
@28:00 You know...I always give Mr. Zeef the benefit of the doubt. But like, there were two traps there...Dragonmaid fusing with traps now? ....??? Hahahaha. That was too funny.
Props to Farfa for being the one who not only accepted to try the Gimmick Puppet pack (I think it was rejected multiple times by Doug and MBT before that) but who really tried his best to play it! That was enjoyable, even from the perspective of a puppet player I think he did enough.
the fun part is that in game 2 activating tinkhec was a not misplay because fusion summoning would have been the misplay. house needs other dragons on field to revive so if you summon her you would need to bounce her back to the extradeck when you want to activate tidying or if you don't you can't start reusing chamber as there was no access to her until another dragon was drawn or tidying was activated
As a Dragonmaid player, but one who learned the deck as her first when starting to play Yu-Gi-Oh for the first time ever, and still learning the Master Duel UI to boot… I’m torn. Part of me wants to empathize with Doug’s misclicks, as I made many of the same mistakes last year… but then, I realize that those were due to lack of experience with Master Duel more than the deck itself, and I just sit here in pain from the misplays that Doug should know better than to make.
I know Gimmick Puppets will lose especially against Dragon maids but I'm still pretty happy to see it in this series. I feel like even if Farfa got the link monster, it would've still been difficult to win.

What a shame that so many cards that have the potential to be good are just bad due to having absolutely no protection. The god cards, the chaos XYZ, and earthbound immortals being the first to come to mind. They require so much resource commitment and then opponent just goes "anyways compulse"
As a dragonmaid player, I think Doug did perfectly fine, especially lacking Spheres and Sheou. But a lot of people underutilize House and Downtime, and he got them to put in work, so that was nice.
it's a shame, i think Farfa could've had a real shot if he had a bit more going on in the extra deck. but with one strings, a leo, and a giant hunter, and with doug having pretty easy access to tidying, it was always going to be an uphill battle No Bisque Doll also sucks
