This kind of supremely trash face-off is what makes Roulette really fun for me, the craziest plays were a repeatable Seven Tools Of The Bandit and a 3000 DEF wall, truly YGO as intended.
Brings me back to the playground days. Millenium wall is unbeatable!
Yeah. I mean there's no other real space to see these jobber decks face off. Kinda wish we got to see them with all their bells and whistles here. I love seeing the most bottom of the barrel dogwater decks. It's so much fun

Chain really needed a restriction forcing you to use Laval/Fire stuff in some capacity for either making it or its effects. Wouldn't even mind seeing it get an errata for such, but the year of the Fire support is coming to an end so time is running out for making that consideration.
I am pretty fond of the laval deck. It was nice to see it win.

I don't know why Doug didn't put Time Thief Double Barrel into his deck. He was saying he didn't have many extra deck cards. Sure, it's not redoer, but at least it's a 2600 rank 4 that can reach 3k if it survives a turn.
I did buy a playset of Book of Lunar Eclipse unironically :)
Book of Eclipse is pretty ass in Ghoti since you play more on your opponents turn than your own, but Book of Moon doesnt do enough vs Kash, so I bought it at the start of the format

At the end-end of the series, you should bring back the unplayable packs with some regular packs mixed in.

I haven’t watched the episode yet, but I’m just happy to not have to worry about Farfa cheating in every other Roulette episode anymore. That’ll be happening in Saga now.
This was my favourite ep of roulette so far, I adored it

Can we possibly have a season with the duel logs? Nothing against mbt of course but I think logs would be another fun option for this series

Feel like it'd be a nice rule to allow someone to craft another SR from the pack if they get more than 3 copies of a SR or higher. Cause obviously the 4th copy onward is useless.

To be fair doug did pull a twinsaw, idk if its worth running with like 4-5 scareclaw, and Scareclaw Kashtira could have solo'd half of MBT's deck if you could summon it. Anyways cool games regardless.
Tbh its not clear it would have helped. MBT's boss monsters were a 2700 atk vanilla and a 3k def vanilla.

with how there are now bad packs i wonder if you could say someone who guess right from the name of the pack it's content gets extra 10 packs and then still end up with an unplayable deck
Can you add a buff where you or your opponent can scrap 3 SR's to craft an SR of your choice if you won the last game? And maybe for the loser of the last game can craft a Rare of their choice? Maybe something like that. 😂

Ima be honest, the trade offers and the pulls cheating to play the worst decks possible are the best part of the serie. I really feel some childlike joy seeing them.

Honestly, at this point, card crafting should be done after the 10x10 pull. Just in case the card you want was pulled, then you can either craft what you didn't or craft an extra.
And where do they pull the first 10 packs from then?

When I used to play and would craft cards I want, the packs would seemingly "unlock" at random.
It sucks that the Sacred Beast was just tossed aside.

Me and my buddy tried this format the other day and i got that scareclaw pack. proceeded to pull 4 scareclaw main deck monsters and no links. Ended up with a garbage xsabers deck and was swiftly destroyed by the magnet and chemcritter pack. The pack is just so bad
Continue in this series until you have tried all the decks ❤😂

Okay, I'm gonna go ahead and suggest a rule change.
You should be able to dust pulls from your packs to craft cards you need.
MBT pulling FIVE copies of the same super is HIGHWAY ROBBERY.
Pulling unplayable ultras and super from outside the pack is super frustrating.
In most cases, you're barely going to be able to dust enough to get an extra card in the high rarity slots. At least in Normal/Rare you can craft some basic cards you need to play a coherent strategy.

First, it's quite rare for them to both be in the situation of "Our pulls are mid, this pack is terrible". Second, the Scareclaw/X-Saber pack is showing off all the issues with the new packs in general: they're overfilled with reprint cards in a game that doesn't need reprints, artificially making it harder to pull new cards.

Your deck is constructed though. He wouldn’t be able to build a strong deck in 20 packs
In this context, they are. That pack is HORRIBLE for sealed play. Your bosses AND your normals are almost ALL SRs. The only non SR normal summonable card in the deck worth playing that's also IN THE PACK is Dark Summoning Beast. Both CSB and DBB are SRs, Fallen Paradise is an SR, the three Sacred Beasts are SRs with Shimmer being an ULTRA, the only boon you get for playing it in sealed is that Spirit Gates is ONLY a Rare. At that point, you might as well just play Geh control, as at least THAT is a cheap card and you can support it with some Grave Squirmers and Tragoedia, maybe Yubel as EVERY Yubel card is low rarity (because they're not good even in a rogue setting). You even have the Entity and Wicked cards in the pack just to bog down your already mediocre N/R pulls.
At that point, just open 20 Master Packs, it's almost as bad.

If you can just pass the sacred beasts pack like that, why even bother putting that many other jank packs in there? Isnt that what makes this show interesting bringing out the most of even the L packs?
