I found your channel way before you made the switch. I would set and wrench on my first crawler build about the same time you started building them. You ran out of new ones so I d just watch and listen to them again. You help me through a very difficult time in my life and for I thank you 😂. Keep on keeping on and I’ll do the same. Hopefully I will get to crawl with you someday. I’m here in Milton West Virginia and don’t get out your way. Maybe someday. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Honestly surprised and impressed. I’ll be considering these for a future build. Wet performance is pretty key around here, and I was really impressed by the side hill performance.
Was pleasantly surprised on the first trail run. As you've said, I'm more of a Trailer than rock crawler. That being said my proving grounds offer a very nice variety of terrain types. I thought the Baja Boss tires did nothing but improve as the 3 hour trail run went on. And it was 37⁰ as well as fairly wet.
Nice review, enjoyed it a lot. Winter here in the Great White North but the bit of testing I did with them on my CJ left me with just changing the wheels for now and keeping the tires.
Because we don't count the Ripsaw, this has got to be the best tire that Axial offers. It's almost impossible to believe that these, the Treps, and the Grapplers are all made of the same R35 compound. Because the Treps and Grapplers are terrible.
Stick on velcro rough part or 15# gorilla double sided tape mounted on the inner ring helps with side to side slop with any style of closed cell inner foam. Give it a try on your next tire quick view
You should have a list of tires of your choice drawn on a board in order of performance. Can be Similar to top gears time board . I guess the portnoys pizza review style , but for tires also works too lol
Random question, what electric driver are you using?,and what are your favorite brand of bits? Also I enjoy your content, nice to see someone else’s views and opinions on RC.
For the drivers, I'm intractably stuck in the Bosch ecosystem. I use both the PS31 drill/driver and the PS41 impact, which come in a combo amzn.to/3vpaIIF For bits, I'm MIP all the way. If you get the insert bits, you can just get a 1/4" tool handle and then you have the best of both worlds. amzn.to/3vtAjjU
Every tire gets tested on the same insert. The same Canyon Custom insert that is excellent in other tires. So if the tire gets a low score on that insert, it's not going to get much better on a different one.
Ribbed and belted and then stuffed with a hard insert is a design for failure. If that set-up were any firmer, it would appear to be a solid rubber tire. If you are going to test tires, could you please use an acceptable insert? I can see some potential in this tire, if it had the ability to flex. That set up could hold a 12 pound truck!
If you've watched the channel regularly, I would say that... half of the fleet is on that exact insert? Diablo, Zobazu, Ghost Rover, Baseline, etc, etc. The Canyon Custom is the established "do everything" insert. Would you get better by putting in 3D printed inserts that cost more than the tires? Probably. But then what's the point?
Maybe you could modify your standard Canyon inserts to better suit the firmer belted, ribbed tires. Don't stop being creative just to get out content. I watch your show every night and love watching it. Try drilling or punching some 1/2 or 5/8 inch holes down through the middle of your inner foams??? It gives the outer rings a place to go when pressure is applied. A tire should receive the best available options so it can perform to it's highest abilities. If that doesn't happen, they're all really just quick views! @CrawlerCanyon I do love you show and I know you love doing it! You may actually be a crawling addict yourself. If I didn't live on the complete opposite end of this invasion, I would come crawl that canyon!
@@rccrawlingaddict207 canyon inserts is just a STANDARD to compare tires, it is "not optimized" as that is done per each persons vehicle per whatever tire they run. Just a simple way to take one variable out the mix. This is done on tire tests, then follow up videos test different inserts on different vehicles if he feels they are going to be run on one of his rigs. This was voted on by the followers to set a standard base for tire tests, as included foams are junk for most tires, and then insert variables add way too much change.

I'm gonna just keep building it bigger and bigger until people are just compelled to come here (it's already working a little.)
For $27 US, these seem to be the best balance for someone who trails but likes to try every obstacle along the trail
For an RtR tire, that's really nice!

that is great news - we can keep the OE tire on my rig - very rare

Thanks I will use that
I really like the enduro se
Pretty nice tires. I could see a set on my trx4 or phoenix 😎😎😎🤷🏻♂️

i had an idea for testing inserts. i don't know how well it would work, to use a scale to measure softness of the insert

I live in Gig City, where the main fiber optics from California and New York intersect.
Nice to see a rtr not suck😅 at least for your $500 you get a good trail tire😂 love me some tire testing as always thanks.
side hill low score could also be the insert

Still waiting on a tsl review
I can get Hunks for $24 a pair, I don't see any reason to drop $33 a pair on ProLines. Oh, that and I still don't buy ProLine.
nice
How bout a weekly dumb with all mismatched tires different sizes 😂
27$/pair
