I got Kolin and I'm liking her a lot. her combo potential feels great, giving her some good rushdown opportunities. overall, I like her, slightly more than the other newcomers in V.
BackForwardPunch hmmm, well ice itself isn't new to street fighter. gill had it in sf3. but she definitely doesn't play like an ice user would in a normal game. most ice fighters have the gimmick of actually freezing u in match, Lol she legit just stabs u constantly with her ice, only really freezing your stun gauge . to me she fits well with SF, fights like a cross of Karin and decapre .
A patient Kolin is a terrifying Kolin. Best way to defeat a Kolin player is to rush down, but mix it up be unpredictable because although they aren’t doing much. They are observing you watching and waiting for the perfect whiff or counter to punish you.
I play kolin and I understand and kinda agree that compared to the other characters she's kinda lack luster but she is entertaining and stylish. I just wish she had a lot more to her like better damage and better combo options

In 3S awesome stuff like parrying Chun-Li's super was actually hard, but in this game the hardest thing in the whole game is Karin's combos, which are still in comparison very easy. And that's not even taking into account that Dimps fell into a lot of game design pitfalls this time around. (a lot of S1's problems were still not fixed, and for every one they fixed, two more showed up) Seriously, look at how broken Boxer and Guile are, and look at how easy they are to use. It doesn't even matter if either of them are charge characters because their fundamental playstyle is just completely broken.
