The difference between Huw Edwards and Jermaine Jenas was that Huw Edwards was a BBC employee with associated employment rights, and Jermaine Jenas was a contractor and so was not required to go through the usual statutory HR process for dismissal. Its actually quite good to see that shady Ltd company contractor thing working out badly for somebody, they set up this way to pay less tax. That will be a false economy for Jenas now, as it meant he hasn't been suspended on full pay for 6+ months during an investigation like Huw Edwards was.
It is more than one female. Heard he was sending dick picks to women. It has been going on for more than a year. They have just been quiet or covering it up, but they cannot ignore it anymore. Hence why he is sacked by BBC. They are trying to get ahead of the story. Women are preparing to expose, so that means they could start talking to the media, so BBC is trying to save face.
The BBC process for suspending staff is going to be held against them. So are they saying what this guy did was worse than huw.
